roy@home.net wrote im right at the look around stage. gotta see what is out there and what will work gotcha. when you figure it out let me know. the titan 489 is a great all around tire. it isnt the best at anything but it does everything good. the 589 to me is the ultimate trail tire offering better mud and rock capability than the 489 but slightly less lateral traction. the vampire edl is the ultimate mud tire. the lugs are 2 deep! since you can only get the edl in a 28 tire though its not an option for most. your 700 would have no problem turning it though. the vampire asx in 26 is what i ran on my arctic cat which is now sold btw for several years. its an awesome mud tire but not so great as a general purpose trail tire no lateral traction. atv tirs are as versatile as atvs in that there is something for every need. i guess first you should decide on what you need. thanks nate. i guess atv tires are like everything else kinda hard to get one that does all things perfectly. so gotta figure where to compromise. roy sounds like youre talking about marriage dale does dont it looking at the prices for tires and wheels sombody is going to be screwin me. might as well be married to them. bg roy .

i already posted my experience in another thread titled solved -- homemade audio cds do not play well 1999 dodge ram 1500 my solution was to switch to another brand of cds that are 74 minute capacity 80 minute capacity ones that did not work. i sounds like a media quality issue; i had this same problem in my camaro with the bose system w/ crappy blue cdrs. -what brand cdr media are you using -what color are they on the underside blue dark blue green gold silver etc. -what write speed are you using i would recommend that you use true silver/silver media. you can get true silver/silver cdrs for 34 cents a pop from http//www.ioproducts.com/trusilcdrmed.html i have used them for hundreds of discs and havent made a single coaster. plus their service is good and the media quality is very high. youll also like the waf wife approval factor of the silver/silver discs since they look just like a commercial cd! finally what write speed are you using its true that some cd players dont like reading discs that are toasted at high 24x speeds. some cdr drives claim to write at 32x or 48x but they do a poor job doing it. the result is a poor quality disc that few players can read. you might have better results burning at slower speeds 8x or 12x. please post your experiences to the group. ignoramus10018 ignoramus10018@nospam.10018.invalid wrote i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500. i like to copy audio cds to listen to my favorite music in my truck. the factory cds play well. as for homemade copied ones some play poorly -- it takes literally minutes for the player to seek the song and start playing. any ideas i .

hi roy my all around favorite is the titan/itp 589. http//www.itptires.com/itp589.html a 26 or 27 would be perfect on yours. if youre a dedicated mudder i like the interco vampire asx http//www.itptires.com/itp589.html about half way down the page but i dont recommend them unless you ride mud all the time. as for wheels i always just run the stockers. i dont want to be afraid to go into some place out of fear of scratching shiny chrome wheels. thanks nate just what i was looking for. seems they dont sell to the public though. roy .

thanks nate just what i was looking for. seems they dont sell to the public though. very few manufacturers sell directly to the public. which tire are you interested in ill find you the best price. im right at the look around stage. gotta see what is out there and what will work the 589 at 27 looks like it will do the trick. lot of peet around here that will suck ya in also they look like the should handle snow just fine. id like to pick up another set of wheels as well. the black steel or black/steel chrome would do. i like having a spare set to use if the need should arise. talk to be about some sort of skid plate or pan. roy -- nathan w. collier http//7slotgrille.com http//utilityoffroad.com .
