on sat 09 feb 2008 103015 -0700 nathan w. collier wrote the tonsillectomy has turned into a massive throat infection which has resulted in heavy antibiotics and even heavier pain killers up to 10mg percocet now instead of 5. while i do enjoy escaping the unbelievable pain i hate being a complete and total zombie. i dont know how junkies can possibly like this feeling. they must be trying to escape pains ive never imagined. ive been strung out on this crap for about 9 days or so now and cant wait to be lucid again. it really sucks not being able to feel your little daughters kiss on your cheek. ....anybody else in here ever had their tonsils removed when they were 30 years old or older the pa i saw yesterday roughly 40 years old also said she had her tonsils removed last december and despite being in the tonsil business and dealing with it every day she never fully appreciated what its like until going through it herself. she says i have about another 3-4 days of mysery and can hopefully come off the dope then. i really hope thats true. she says my tongue will feel numb for at least another week or so and that i should have actual taste back in 2-3 more weeks. if i had it to do over again i still would of had them removed. they have always been a problem for me and in fact i had to redo much of army basic training due to tonsilitis when i was 17. just last month i thought i would have to intebate myself with a piece of plumbing pipe just to be able to breathe. nothing like waking up at 4am being strangled by your own tonsils. this happened 2-3 times a year every year but the doctors didnt want to remove my tonsils. they say it was to avoid what im going through now but i think it was to guarantee return business. - so anyway i guess ive rambled enough. thanks for the distraction guys it helps to pass the time. nate i hope and pray you get to feeling better soon. -- chris .

it all starts here sir. - -- http//www.njsp.org/info/pdf/firearms/sp-642.pdf and it ends there too... you have to convince both the chief of police and a superior court judge that you have a justifiable need to carry a handgun. self-defense doesnt cut it. you either have to be ex-leo work for an armored car service and then can only carry while on duty or have friends in very high places to get approved. and then once youre denied and 99.9999% of the time you will be you have to answer yes to question 19 on this form http//www.njsp.org/info/pdf/firearms/sts-033.pdf which you have to fill out every time you apply for handgun purchase permits. that will certainly raise a red flag and delay your application further than the normal beaurocracy. weve recently upgraded our laws such that anyone caught in possession of a handgun outside of their home or business without said carry permit the one thats impossible to obtain and who doesnt fall under a narrow list of exemptions such as travelling directly to a target range on the 3rd sunday in july between the hours of 345 and 415 during a hail storm with a baby zebra in the back seat is guilty of a 2nd degree crime what most other states call felonies and will be sentenced to 5-10 years in state prison... mandatory. first o

bob az wrote are they sure it was the battery that started it all possibly some short in the wiring that caused the battery to cook and fail there is not very many battery manufacturers in the usa. 3-4 manufacturers cover probably 90% of the batteries out there. saying it is an autozone battery does not say much because it id a rebadged exide or gould or who knows. the battery simply is not there. or any residue. many wire bundles are simply bare roasted copper. the throttle body is 90% gone. radiator and ac condenser 50% gone. but the battery area simply stands out in that there is almost nothing left except for a heavily damaged battery tray. the fire even burned through the firewall behind the dash instruments which are all gone. lots of smoke damage inside the cab. the fender liner not sure what material it is is melted over the rf tire. half the hood is gone half the windshield is gone and the other half burned or roasted beyond use. alternator is gone. exhaust manifold is there. az compressor gone. but presumably no fuel/gas fire because we think there would have been a tremendous explosion when all there was was a boom. the gas tank was all but full. no damage to the glove compartment. all doors open and close easily. bob az sounds like a lack of evidence. i think some ford trucks have spontaneously combusted in the middle of the night and burned down the house. there was a recall on the cruise control or whatnot causing that. .

nothing personal nate but ive never needed one as a civilian.. for your own sake i hope you never realize first hand how wrong i feel you are. the students at va tech that were lined up in a row and shot one after another were unarmed and unable to do anything but stand there and die. was it that they were unable or simply chose not to. while im sure they were scared they had nothing to lose by attacking the guy especially after he shot the first one. many people will do nothing even if they have the gun. watch this video sir. http//www.youtube.com/watchv=soztwqksm shows a woman working at walmart when her estranged husband walks in and starts stabbing her. people just stood around watching the woman being stabbed to death unable to offer any assistance at all.... once again unable or simply unwilling. since he didnt have a gun himself how many people could he possibly fight off especially if jumped on from behind. up until a little old man that carried concealed came up and shot her attacker dead so that she the innocent one could live. while that sounds good what if as the little old man was about to shoot the scumbag someone else with a gun came around the corner saw the old man getting ready to shoot the attacker and thought the old man was the attacker and shot the old man. i got dozens of similar examples of a concealed carry holder making the difference. i am sure that you do but you are under the assumption that everyone that would be carrying would both know what to do and act rationally. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
