good. he sucked anyway. are you really that stupid you mean to tell me that the ability of a special interest group to simply delete those whos views and beliefs dont mesh with theirs doesnt scare the hell out of you its not about whether you liked what he did or what he said - its about the fundamental concept of free speech. oh i know - the constitution doesnt protect someone from being fired... i get that. his job was not constitutionally protected. that doesnt mean what happened was right either. msnbc cbs and most other corporations need to stop rolling up into a fetal position and sucking their thumb whenever some group with their own agenda starts rattling sabers. grow a set of fucking balls i say to them. sharpton and those like him are nothing more than schoolyard bullies shaking kids down for their lunch money. the more kids who cry and give in to them the more powerful they think they are. but once someone finally decides enough is enough and stands up to the bully they quickly slink away. watch the legislators jump on this next.... weve had hate crime laws for several years now... watch out here comes hate speech laws. utter something in public that someone somewhere finds offensive and prepare to spend some time behind bars. you may think thats rediculous... im sure people 20 years ago thought it rediculous that there could be such a thing as a hate crime too. .

comments must be put in their place. that place is on the fringes of a decent and honorable society. and yet by limiting those comments we limit what makes us the society we are... the first amendment. so what should we do about racial slurs ignore them. if you are so goddamned hurt by a racial comment that you cannot see yourself as better than the word then you need to work on being better. imus got fucked by the execs who have no balls. the only reason racism is an issue anymore is the sharpton jackson coalition. if they put half as much effort into raising money for non whites yeah more than just blacks but all colors in the rainbow coalition to get an education the minorities they speak for would be able to speak for themselves. so where do we draw the line between racism and freedom of speech i say we tolerate both and racism will die out and the first amendment will thrive. if you get called names and cannot feel that you are better than what those names denote see a fucking psychiatrist or shoot yourself. ive had first hand experience with racism and its not some jackass on the radio calling people names. racism is the black man who mowed and still does in his 70s my grandmothers lawn. he is very accomplished in life and has a marriage that would rival the best for longevity and faithfulness. his kids grew up in the american dream joined the military got educations etc. he has my utmost respect for his work ethic his moral standards and his accomplishments in life. and yet when my grandmother died he felt it was necessary to come to me in person before the memorial service and ask permission to attend the service. racism isnt words spoken to this man he clearly knows he is better than that. racism is the fact that the society in that part of the nation demanded he get permission to attend a white womans funeral even though she was a friend and business associate. so while you prattle on about what imus said being so terrible and which i am sure offended the lady scarlet knights its still not racism. long live the first amendment. -- max long live the first amendment. amen to that! however the first amendment is not absolute. lying under oath or to the police is a crime. inciting others to commit criminal acts will get you arrested. our society must respect the right of people to spew hate from the pulpit and in the press. we are not required to give them moral or financial support. jam .

not saying that i agree with this just as i see it. because people that belong to a particular group are given more freedom to attack their own group unless youre bill cosby. right.... thats why its now estimated that cbs lost $15m a year in revenue from his show. not all his advertisers left and those who did - would soon be replaced with others. it simply requires a modicum of courage to weather the storm so to speak. the bigwig on countdown the other night admitted the action of firing imus wasnt a good one financially. sadly sharpton jackson arent whining about the duke lax team either.... they got screwed and sharpton jackson had not a word to say. i remember a song by stevie wonder that had the words when i was a nappy haired boy. i dont recall any outcry. i wonder why. max join www.devilbrad.com and find out what free exchange of info is all about. there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author imus lost his job because he was no longer a source of income for his employer. right.... thats why its now estimated that cbs lost $15m a year in revenue from his show. not all his advertisers left and those who did - would soon be replaced with others. it simply requires a modicum of courage to weather the storm so to speak. unfortunately the company wet their pants and knee-jerked bowing to the pressure put on them by a criminal a liar a slanderer and a bigot. way to go cbs... history repeats itself. .

xclimation wrote of course there is severe punishment for possesion under the influence. do you think a 21 year old thinks of this do me a favor and study possible scenarios if at least 1/4 of 50 people had a gun. first off a percentage will panic and unload anywhere. another percentage will unload on anything that moves. a trained police officer at a range of 10 feet with a handgun in a firefight will hit the intended target an average of 2-3 times per 10 shots. dont believe me ask a police officer or someone who knows what they are talking about. i am talking a trained police officer who has experience extensive training and practice and who has to requalify every year. i am also considering the gun man not wearing body armour because that changes things as well. the problem is people either watch too much tv or only shoot in a range under ideal conditions and do not understand just how inaccurate a hand gun really is. i am not advocating taking everyones guns away. i just think the whole thought process of advocating everyone to carry a firearm is whether others are actually hitting anything or not the gunman surely is ducking a bit being more cautious in what hes doing. bullets dont need to be hitting someone in order to have effect. most bullets in combat situations do not hit their marks. doesnt mean your head isnt down in the dirt any less! ridiculous. also something that is never talked about is the mental affect of carrying a firearm. im talking about the superiority complex some get when carrying a firearm. this is something that is also studied and i encourage others to do their own research for themselves on it. i call it the deputy dawg syndrome. if the gunman lines up everyone as you say then how does the deputy dawg syndrome fare when *everyone else* has a gun i should think the air of superiority diminishes along with the sense of invulnerability. at least this gives extra time for a trained individual to respond as well as give the gunman a chance to think twice. ill take my chances with this over bullets flying wildly everyone not giving a chance for the situation to be controlled. as i said im not for banning all firearms but if you want to ask the brits or aussies as you state; you will notice that these mass shootings do not happen as near as much as here in the united states. do you think that no one in great britian or australia has a firearm maybe i recommend famialiarizing yourself with the gun laws of these countries. a private citizen can own a firearm in these countries. the us is definitely a more violent nation than any european nation. nonetheless its not like firearms were unavailable to the masses before the last 10-20 years. the us population has always had easy access to guns and until recently never had these sorts of incident occurring. the wild west was no where near as violent as our inner cities and now apparently our schools and colleges. something else is at work in the us beyond mere access to weaponry. ill maintain it is social isolation stemming from our car culture that indirectly creates social isolation. all this is enhanced by the breakdown of american families. no uncle john or grandma brown for therapy when troubles occur. even mom and dad assuming they are even together are busy earning cash for the bimmer and merc and 5000 sq ft home and summer house in maine. and on and on it goes. were a nation of social isolationists and when lifes challenges occur individuals are on their own without ever learning what disciplined behavior and solution of problems entails. your mind control argument is over reaching dont you think i never said anything about mind control. with all due respect this sounds like the black helicopter conspiracy theorists that are in militias. im talking about researching the root cause of what makes one malfunction like this. whether you like it or not science will find a way to recognize these individuals before something like this happens. science may be able to do so but i wonder if we have the political will to act upon what science tells us when personal rights collide with scientifically derived indicators of behavior i suspect science will lose big time. smh .
