OT Brand new religion

From : roy

Q: budd cochran wrote theyve only asked you to respect theirs if you want them to respect yours. thats the rub no one is respecting my beliefs and all want me to revert back to the way i was. nope aint gonna happen. personally id like to see you back at giving out generally pretty good advice on the older dodges like you used to. your religious conviction isnt really an issue. i still do when i get a chance . . ; if you want to throw in some say a short prayer to the lord for low transmission fluid or prepare to shell out some bucks on a new tranny when giving advice to those with a stricken dodge i have no real problem with that. it would just be one of budds posting idiosyncracies. vbg!! actually it would be even less r content than that if some would just leave me alone since theyve stated their opinions so profusely. i would think god would want you to be an *effective* promoter of his word. have you thought you might actually be counter productive in furthering gods word yes and ive whispered prayed about it. psalm 91 also whispered there are a couple people on this group that have no real respect for organized religion of any kind and a few more that are outright agnostic or atheist. youve certainly promoted their negative attitudes towards pious religious persons. ooops you missed also just being generally antagonistic towards me but if i am stepping on toes . . . . i can sort of see the good lord at the pearly gates when you eventually step through saying budd was a good man but he unconverted five for every person he converted! lol if you believe as i in once saved always saved then you know that thats not possible. theres no doubt some room in heaven for even bumbling saints. your heart was in the right place but your methods stood improvement. stephen i appreciate you kind words and concern. thank you sir. i am constant in prayer for myself the group and for my antagonists...and i believe in miracles. vbg budd -- posted via a free usenet account from http//www.tera.com .

i had a stumbles fails and then restarts problem. after some complicated work like pulling the fuel pickup out of the gas tank it turned out to be a clogged air filter. like he says change the air and fuel filters first. -- christopher a. young you cant shout down a troll. you have to starve them. .. try replacing filter and air cleaner first always try to eliminate cheaper first. good luck help! this has been going on about a month now. about 15 minutes into my 30 minute drive to and from work my truck will shudder or lurch like it momentarily loses power. it feels like running over a speed bump on the highway. this may happen 2 or 3 times before getting to where im going. i dont think im losing total electrical power because there is no break in the radio or ac. this also happens with the radio and ac off... also about a couple times each week when i come to a stop the truck will just die. starts right back up with no problem... there are no check engine lights. i took it to the shop and they ran a diagnostic with no results and told me to take it to dodge. dodge did a diagnostic with no results. so they started playing the guessing game which has cost me $313.00 so far. here is what they did 1 change spark plugs 2 change pvc valve 3 bg major fuel induction system service with injector kit and throttle body gasket nothing has changed!!! question can an electrical fuel pump gradually go on the fritz dumb question i know and/or after driving for a while can the motion of the truck shake up any crap in the fuel filter and clog it up enough to cause the above problems dodge wants $700.00 to drop the tank and replace the fuel pump and filter. cant afford this to be another guess... any guidance would be appreciated. thanks pcb .

denny wrote i was sitting here reading some of the last few days of posts and the thought crossed my mind shut up roy about how in the good ole days the pissing matches were about what was the best type of torque wrench. that seems a little tame compared to this. went up to cabelas a couple of weeks ago and picked up a lee aniversary reloading kit. nothing fancy to it its just a basic reloading kit for getting started. im not too into guns. just have one for shooting down at the range now and then. todays gonna be spent going down to the auto store and buying a k&n filter for my truck. then i gotta rotate my tires. what torque wrench is recommended to use for torquing the lug nuts properly one that goes to around 150 lbs. click or beam whichever you like. .

this is the 3rd/4th battery. the first one oem completely crapped out quite some time ago. i replaced that with a battery from batteries plus their brand which was a mistake. they replace it with an optima red top and i just paid the difference so it wasnt a big deal til that one died....than i was a tad pissed. i do have an aftermarket stereo that does draw a lot of current but i figureded at the level im pushing it the stock charging system woud be enough. im going to have that checked out this week and will go from there. on a side note ive been watching my voltage gauge on start up and if i recall it always jumped right up to 14 volts or so as soon as started. now it seems to creep up rather slowly so im thinking maybe i have a charging issue. been wanting a high output alternator anyway so maybe its time to start looking. -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels well so much for this thread. nah denny was correct and t bone was right ya have to see how much draw ya have. $ ways shouldnt wipe the batteries out. sounds like your on your 4th battery in what 5 years something aint right roy .

just because someone takes a subject as offensive doesnt make it so but if there is something that could be taken that way or inappropriate content then they are obligated to do something. in most cases it is just a warning that can be ignored but they can do more. ok color me confused here. if something is said that i find to be offensive to me my beliefs yada yada yada. how is that not offensive that is not what i said but what i did say might not be clear. from what i have come to understand the offensive rule applies to generally offensive statements such as racial slurs profanity and the like. it would be just about impossible to respond to every instance where an individual finds something offensive especially if there is no inappropriate content. if i were to talk to you about something that you found it to be offensive wouldnt that be so if not please enlighten me. while something may be offensive to me doesnt mean that it is offensive to the general reader and if not most isps will not respond to such specific cases and reserve their actions for much more generally offensive posts with inappropriate content. just about nobody reads it but it is there just the same. never said i didnt read it just dont recall seeing something in there specifically about this subject matter. in mine it was mixed in with the rules against spamming off topic posts and inappropriate content. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

i wonder what kind of law suit he was trying to bring against gm - if you repeatedly over heat your engine trying to keep up with a dodge ctd it enters leap home mode obviously dodge is the superior product but what kind of damage did this fool do to his own truck also the idiot should get out of the left hand lane if he cant keep up with traffic! thanks for the post i was considering a duramax for a while. it might has helped if he had the uhaul truck facing to the front without all the wind resistance. pehaps but it was probably loaded that way to put the weight on the trailer wheels. he made a claim that he was totaling nearly 23k in weight. is that correct my dodge vehicle manual shows about 20k max. .
