do you still intend to drive this on the street i would suggest that you purchase a set of headers that are emmissions legal and put the o2 sensors back in as well as the converters. the computer expects them and is tuned to operate with them in place. you could possibly remove the o2 sensors and replace them with resistors to fake out the computer but what would be the point. agreed - nothing good can come from trying to remove the o2 sensors. thats like removing your eyes and ears and trying to walk across a busy freeway. as for the cats while illegal to remove them and still run on the street theyre not absolutely necessary. on a v10 unless its a california v10 there are only two o2 sensors both upstream of the cats. the only thing the cats do is provide some backpressure which can be replicated downstream with mufflers. if the engines going to be used wide-open most of the time above 3000rpm the backpressure becomes more of a hinderance than a benefit. ceramic coated headers dont rust either if it is done correctly. just about any performance catalog will have either type as well as direct replacement types that will bolt up to the stock exaust configuration. not exactly... only a few companies make v10 headers and of the ones ive installed neither was a direct bolt-up. borlas set requires a replacement of the exhaust pipes almost all the way back to the the cats requiring some cutting of the stock exhaust. thorleys uses most of the stock down pipes but gets rid of the flange and clamp mount replacing it with a standard 3-bolt collector flange and gasket. these need to be welded onto the stock pipes after the ends are cut off. .

thats because there wasnt anything left of the truck foreward of the rear axle i wouldnt put too much stock in that picture hitting a 2000 pound moose is completely different from hitting a 200 pound deer. its a lot more likely the people in the truck were decapitated couple of years ago there was a picture circulated of a moose hit by a company vehicle 1-ton chevy crew cab or suburban...couldnt tell which from the picture. the moose was virtually decapitated and its head was lying on the dash of the vehicle! pretty spooky picture! .
