OT- but something to ponder
From : budd cochran
Q: sent to me by my sis-in-law i thought this was interesting......and that i would pass it on. i dont know anything about the koran but if this is true then it gives you something to ponder........... iraq - very interesting - did you know 1. the garden of eden was in iraq. 2. mesopotamia which is now iraq was the cradle of civilization! 3. noah built the ark in iraq. 4. the tower of babel was in iraq. 5. abraham was from ur which is in southern iraq! 6. isaacs wife rebekah is from nahor which is in iraq. 7. jacob met rachel in iraq. 8. jonah preached in nineveh - which is in iraq. 9. assyria which is in iraq conquered the ten tribes of israel. 10. amos cried out in iraq! 11. babylon which is in iraq destroyed jerusalem. 12. daniel was in the lions den in iraq! 13. the three hebrew children were in the fire in iraq jesus had been in iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace! 14. belshazzar the king of babylon saw the writing on the wall in iraq. 15. nebuchadnezzar king of babylon carried the jews captive into iraq. 16. ezekiel preached in iraq. 17. the wise men were from iraq. 18. peter preached in iraq. 19. the empire of man described in revelation is called babylonwhich was a city in iraq! and you have probably seen this one. israel is the nation most often mentioned in the bible. but do you know which nation is second it is iraq! however that is not the name that is used in the bible. the names used in the bible are babylon land of shinar and mesopotamia. the word mesopotamia means between the two rivers more exactly between the tigris and euphrates rivers. the name iraq means country with deep roots. indeed iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the bible. no other nation except israel has more history and prophecy associated it than iraq. and also... this is something to think about! since america is typically represented by an eagle. saddam should have read up on his muslim passages... the following verse is from the koran the islamic bible koran 911 - for it is written that a son of arabia would awaken a fearsome eagle. the wrath of the eagle would be felt throughout the lands of allah and lo while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the eagle cleansed the lands of allah; and there was peace. note the verse number! hmmmmmmm! .

rather than just rant and whine why dont you point out what you feel isnt true. thats kinda what discussion is all about! agreed. a lot of what he posted i feel is true from my school-days. i clearly remember being taught that the cradle of civilization began between the tigris and euphrates. mesopotamia and sumeria come to mind. maybe thats all been refuted since i learned it some 30 years ago i dont know about noah other than he was the master of understatement when he looked up and said looks like rain. g --mike bob wrote yes it is very interesting. almost as interesting as many other works of fiction. do you bother to check facts before passing on interesting crap you get over the internet or do just assume its true because it came from your sister thanx for playing try again later. you are not a winner. rather than just rant and whine why dont you point out what you feel isnt true. thats kinda what discussion is all about! .

iirc you dont have to remove the steering wheel to replace the dimmer switch. it is a minor pita though since it requires a tamper-proof torx bit #20 i believe which most folks dont have. youre right - the wheel can stay on. i was thinking of some other vehicles that ive helped change the switch on and they all had to have the wheel pulled. in this particular case you just need to remove the knee bolster panel and the steering column covers to get to the switch. my local ace hardware sells a set of security torx bits for $5 or so. hey - wait a minute... i was wrong about something and you corrected me. arent i supposed to attack you now grin .

rotflmbo!!!! talk about being in denial!!!!! jeeze!!! you will never do anything but spin away from the fact that if you had not spoken up it would not have gone any farther. sorry budd but if miles didnt start it with his typical comments there would have been no reason for me to speak up and if you would have minded you own business for a change and had not spoken up you would not be part of it either. miles stated information from a national if not international service in effect a quote. yea which one. but your reply was pure opinion a-la t-bone. you didnt eve4n try to dicuss it just cussed it. as im entitled to do but he still started it by posting the quote in a joke thead. any way you look at it the political part was not started by me thanks budd. can you not see that you are every bit as much to blame as i am and if not wtf are you doing posting in this thread. having fun with a tommy-troll-boy. its my hobby. unfortunately youre not a bobble-head but a spin-head. look at this a full admission to being a troll. this thread just keeps getiing better and better for me. i know you are just going to spin it into youre just trying to correct my misinformation but in reality you just cant resist troll boy. so you admit its misinformation. good! now just go a bit farther and admit youre spreading it deliberately. yet more obvious spin can it get any better either way no matter how much of a troll that you accuse me of being it still would not have gone any further if you minded you own business and miles just ignored me. care to try again so why didnt you yes you ignore miles hmm you could have as easily as anyone else but you didnt or couldnt which proves you replied as a troll. nope it does no such thing. talk about being a coward troll-boy look in a mirror and see the real coward. all i need to do to see the real coward is to look at the one sitting on that poor cushman. i doubt that it was ever rated for that type of load capacity. rotflmbo!!!! i had the same reaction when i saw the picture. when is that thing going to be finished lets see the factory suspension springs are about 160# / in. each and there are two front and two rear effectively no suspension travel for a gross weight of less than 640# and the scooter weighs 210 and i weigh 270 .. . . you do the math. btw the rear suspension gives the springs a 21 advantage twice the rated spring capacity and the fronts have a 25% advantage. most of the actual suspension is in the 4.5 x 7.75 tires. thats why i installed a spring mounted seat. now it rides quite well thank you. it ws a joke dude lol. no need for the long explanation but thank you just the same. the fact that you weigh more than the scooter is not a good thing especially with your heart condition. perhaps you should try either atkins or the la weightloss diet. they both work amazingly fast and you will feel much better and live longer. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

tbone i would point out that although the first attack was not yours. you seem to take a childish glee and derive some satisfaction in perpetuating it. you are entitled to your opinion but i dont think that you know the history behind this. it really just came to a choice of either letting these attacks hurt me or turning them around and having fun with it. for a while they did bother me but then i wised up and realized that his is not reality and chose to do the latter. be like 99 percent of the people on this and other groups sit back and learn. by perpetuating the attacks you prove you are no better than the attacker. and from what ive read in this nauseating thread youre worse because you have to take everything personally. i take very little of it personally. i used to but that was a long time ago. because my political views are so different from many on this group i have become somewhat defensive and perhaps strike back a little quicker than i should but then again its part of the history thing. i also dont like it when people twist what i said into something completely different and that is probably part of what you are seeing. now as you read this you see it as an attack against you and have already started formulating your scathing reply. then you would be wasting your time as you would be wrong. you are entitled to your opinion and i am far from innocent as to what you have claimed but im not the only one and am not appreciative of being singled out but oh well. be a man swallow your pride and let it slide. if you cant do that go get some counseling you and others in here need it... lol. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
