Q: harry wrote ambo wrote bigger engines develope more than enough power at low rpms run run the car at highway speeds. the lower rpm can save you 2 - 3 mpg. at 70mph he should be around 2000rpm. when going 65mph i loose 2 mpg when the od is turned off. that is a 10%+ difference. yes another way to improve milage is slow down. od makes a 1000rpm difference at 70 mph in my truck. i go from 2000 to 3000 at 70 when i turn off the od i know that makes a big difference in the mpg but 200rpm i would think would not make too much of a diff if anythign just drive at 63 and that would get you the same mpg at going 70 with the 3.55 ideally the gear ratio would not make a difference in mileage. its just that engines usually turn easier at a lower rpm so there is less loss of power within the engine. wind-drag loss is logarithmic to speed. i think it takes 10x the power to go twice as fast or something like that. 10x the power is 10x the fuel consumption. so 20mpg at 60mph might be 2mpg at 120mph. ideally. we must factor in that less than 20% of the power of the fuel actually gets to the wheels. the rest of the loss wouldnt be logarithmic to the speed. so economy wouldnt be that bad doubling the speed e.g. an sr-71s economy wouldnt suffer going from 60mph to 120mph ;- harry the computer was reading about 4mpg at 120... i mean... who would go 120 in a 4x4 dak |- i had also heard it puts double the stress or 10x the stress cant remember exactly on the engine for every 1000 rpm it climbs. is it true i dont know maybe someone can correct me on that one. .

on tue 20 jul 2004 114159 -0400 clyde dodgemanfromhell@aol.com wrote an audio/video ebonics lesson. i am very much aware that the attachment is a .exe file. but i also know it is not a virus. have run it at least 100 times and for a final test i just scanned it with norton a/v and ran it again. it is very funny. you need the sound turned on. looks like the server didnt like the binary attachment. anybody wants it or knows how to post it here email me and ill attach it that way. dodgemanfromhell@aol.com try a binary group maybe its a no-no to post binaries to a non-binary ng... btw good luck on getting anyone to open an executable file posted to a ng... dj .
