Q: i got my prodigy installed and it seems to be stopping the trailer just fine but im unsure of the adjustments. the video said to slide the manual lever all the way to the left and adjust the setting to 6.0 volts and then adjust as needed to get the wheels just before lock up. well i dont know how to tell when im just before lock up. i do feel a slight push when im stopping. not bad but slight. also do i need to reset this as my load changes i just cant see how 6 volts would provide the same stopping power at 3000 pounds as it would at 10000 pounds. thanks -- nathan w. collier http//7slotgrille.com http//utilityoffroad.com .

after watching this thread i question whether you should be pulling a trailer at all. let alone teach someone else how. clay youll have to adjust that one as well. their website claims otherwise. best i can tell you get the base setting and everything else is adjusted by fluid pressure which would be more with a heavier load. thousands of people use the prodigy for everything from a small utility trailer up through the 30+ 5th wheels... its not that hard. im sure i can figure it out but im concerned about trying to teach the wifey how to figure it out. -- nathan w. collier http//7slotgrille.com http//utilityoffroad.com .

i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4 x4 extended cab pickup with a brake problem. the right front brake applies first causing a pull to the right. every thing has been changed. rotorspads calipers. brake lines proporitinn valve. even tires & wheels. this has been done on the rear also. in fact this has been done 2 times nothing changed. the right front brake feels free to turn when the wheel is jacked up off the ground. however black dust gets on the right front and not the left from wear. even the metal brake lines have been changed. something strange is going on here. i am posting this for don reed his computer is out of service. boris belchoff any help will be greatly appreciated. don reed donreed at ij.net or reply to this message thank you 813- 754-2322 .

where did you buy it -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving in my country chile we only have 95 and 97 octane gas and my 99 dakota 3.9 l runs fine with no engine problem! clt. jmc wrote as some of you know im a 2001 dakota owner who is currently stationed overseas. the base just upgraded the gas station and in their infinite wisdom now only offer 95 octane gas. my owners manual says my engine could be damaged if i use high octane. will it really if this can indeed damage my engine id like to know how and if theres any way additives id be able to use this gas. otherwise i have to use more expensive options which may include paying the current $6.50 per gallon which is what we pay here with the currently high exchange rate. thanks for any advice! jmc .

nate.. assuming that the 5000 pounds is tongue weight heh... 5k of tongue weight would leave you staring at the sky while the truck wheelied down the road digging a trench in the road from the hitch. it would certainly be impressive .
