hello everyone i just recently *beginning of october purchased a dodge ram wagon 15 passenger van - it is a 2002 and only 42000 on it. took it in about a month later noticing the defrost wasnt working - and noise from rear end. thankfully also purchased extended warranty on it - they found all the bearings gone bad in it ring gears and pinions and total replacement value was $2300 which luckily i only paid $100 deductible. is this normal for a 2 year old vehicle now christmas eve night i discover the check engine light is on. what the crap!! the van is not even 2 years old.....have i purchased a lemon any ideas what might be causing it and it is not the gas cap i tried that one....and how likely is some kind of trade back in yeah just love throwing money away! thanks yall brad .

jerry wrote if you really knew what your were talking about you would know a kimber is actually a custom gun produced by hand and cost a hell of a lot more than a stock 1911. you really cant remember things you just said can you in http//tinyurl.com/5m59o you said why spend a lot of money to make something shoot better when you can buy it out of the box for one third the price. so i mention the kimber and now you want to whine that the kimber costs more you cant have it both ways jerry. please make up your mind before coming back to the table as you continue to contradict your own statements. you brought up the sig. yes as a perfect example of a failed proprietary round. you can attempt to dismiss it by trying to claim wide acceptance in leo but even leo is going away from it. its a failed round because there isnt enough incentive to use it. the public doesnt want them...... so what ...... the leos do. only a handful still use them and youll find more go away as leo departments across the country attempt to find a standard leo round. speaking as someone who can hit the side of a barn with a shotgun i find that statement to be rather silly. wtf does that mean........... that means im fully confident in having 8 rounds in a 1911 because i know i can hit with it. if you need more to feel confident then dont buy a 1911. please make up your mind! in http//tinyurl.com/4u7j5 you said then a new propellant was was used that actually produces higher pressure in the gap than the acp. nothing to make up. please learn to read. a new propellant was was used that actually produces higher pressure. making it a higher pressure propellent but i understand you need to find something to hang up on to distract the conversation. the hell i didnt .......... did you even bother to read the cites i gave you. at least i gave you some something which you have failed to do. horseshit jerry. you listed a few leo departments using .357 sig as if that proves anything. i can list a few leo departments that drive jeep cherokees but that doesnt make it a common leo vehicle. lol ...... what a bunch of bull shit. so far you have listed cost and the availability of customizing parts. and you cannot refute those statements yet in desperate ignorance you refuse to acknowledge them. the ballistics are pretty much equal jerry so these differences are what youre left with. i also listed a few others such as the availability of bullets choice in different handgun makers and styles etc. hell by your definition the old vw bug was superior to the corvette not even close as the performance of the two isnt equal like the gap and acp. the only thing gross is your laughable stance in your blind biased attempt to protect the .45 acp. that statement is just plain stupid. how would i be protecting the ..45 acp im stating my reasons that i feel the gap will fail im supporting those reasons with precise examples. it has nothing to do with my preference for the .45acp and everything to do with knowing that joe public isnt going to switch just because you say they should. to the contrary jerry the .45 acp already has the world. awwwww ............. now the biased truth finally leaks out....thank you for finally admitting it. lol...your ignorance changes nothing about popularity of the acp. now why do i need to update a list that came from a web page. oh well hell why didnt you say that to start with everybody knows if it came from a web page it must be accurate. besides if you had of been paying attention i plainly said leos were switching to the .40 s&w and the .357 sig. and if you were paying attention you would see ive already stated that the .40 is a success. i also stated it was a success because unlike the sig it was a unique round. how bout the literal millions of 1911s in the hands of private citizens oh bullshit ......... hell you can multiply that ten fold if .38 speciall is used. my point exactly! these are rounds that are embraced by joe public. if the gap is to be a success it will need the approval of joe public. ive ask you several times for a cite and you run every time with comments that mean nothing. translation -- i have no response. jerry my opinions are my opinions and are supported with the reasons i believe to be true. if you cant comprehend them thats your short-coming not mine. go to your local gun store. tell you you believe they sell as many .357 sig rounds as they do .357 magnum rounds. see if they stop laughing before you reach your truck. oh for christs sakes.......... stop trying to dance and spin and produce something beside this crap. translation -- your right nathan. if its spin and dance why dont you do just that jerry if its bullshit you have nothing to worry about. tell the owner of your local gun store

light output drops exponentially not linearly with voltage drop. small voltage drops = large light losses. unfortunately were not talking about drops in voltage. vehicles in service frequently show as low as 11v across the bulbs doubful. eliminating the voltage drop and bringing voltage at the bulb from lets say 12.5 to 14.0 gives us a 47% increase in those lumens you were saying couldnt change. they cant change to more than the bulb was designed to put out assuming proper voltage across the bulb. you claim a 9% drop in voltage to the headlamp circuit. im doubting your findings for three reasons. 1 too much draw by other accessories will cause an amperage drop before a voltage drop occurs this is impossible but if you say differently please provide the formula that backs it up. 2 voltage while running is considerably higher than 12.5-12.8 which is assumed to be operating voltage this is at the battery which has a heavy cable running to it from the alternator. you are not taking voltage drops in seperate circuits due to thin resistive wire of dirty overloaded switches. 3 having tested my fog lamp circuit numerous times looking for a short i can tell you that the voltage measured at the socket on the front end of the truck always matched the battery voltage. was the fog lamp connected and lit at the time thus the voltage drop you claim is unlikely to affect all vehicles and is more likely a product of individual circumstances not design flaws. it is more of both and justified by acceptable limits to keep costs in line. iow you have some great marketing hype but no foundation in reality. it is more like you simply dont understand. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

jerry wrote montanajeeper@aol.com wrote you didnt pay attention to what i said jerry. i was referencing the .40 s&w in comparison to the .45 acp and showing that while it was ballistically superior on paper in the field it wasnt proving as reliable. sure i was but i understood your word it to represent the 45gap since that is what he subject is about. i was using the .40 as an example to show that just being .45 caliber isnt enough to prove the gaps capability. the .40 on paper is slightly ballistically superior to the .45 acp also yet it isnt proving itself as effective in the field. this argument is totally related to the .45 gap because the argument of its ballistics are being used to suggest that it is equal to the .45acp. all my argument says is that its gonna have to prove itself in the field before it earns any points. its a opinion which btw is what you are providing also. absolutely....but my statements arent presented as factual data. there you go again off in left field. im not suggesting anything and again what the sam hell does 38 special 357 mag 9mm have to do here anyway. to demonstrate the difference in readily available ammunition as this also plays a part in how popular a handgun is and how popular it will become. were talking about a new round that is proving to give the 45acp a run for its money there you go again. at this point it hasnt proven anything. how many gaps were sold last month how many .45 acps of course dealers have to stock the item and in my area many of the dealers have it on their shelves. and many stock it here also....but most dont and that was my only point on availability. the ammuntion while available isnt as readily available as acp ammunition and this takes a long time to change. there has to be a huge demand for the smaller suppliers to stock it and that demand isnt there yet and may never be. i fear this is just another proprietary specialty round thats going to follow the way of all the other proprietary specialty rounds and will find favor amongst few in comparison. but thats my opinion. who the hell said the ammo was as available in gap as the acp look back over my argument again jerry and slow down as you read it. my point is that its not as available as the acp making it more expensive and slightly more difficult to get. now if youre following along youll see this is one of the reasons i formed the opinion that its a long way away from being in the league of the .45 acp. so far you have offered a lot of personal opinion but not one single cite to show the 45acp superior to the 45gap only because you arent paying attention! ive stated many times that the ballistics are pretty much equal. ive stated that the reason the acp is superior is because its cheaper more readily available more options in manufacturers and styles way more potential for customizing etc. it is the world wide standard for competition handgun shooting has sold more handguns throughout american history than any other caliber and is proven for nearly a century. though you wasted no time jumping up with the statement to actually suggest that it could be a contender for the .45acp is nothing short of biased dreaming and bullshit. ok read everything i wrote in the last paragraph. in steps glock thats going to revolutionize the standard combat and competition round by trimming the case a little please.... it may one day be a popular round but i dont see enough incentive there to overthrow the most beloved caliber and handgun of all time. in fact i fear it will eventually go the way of the .357 sig and the .38 super. whether you admit it or not you are simply biased towards the 45acp. sigh....im just being realistic jerry. hell yes i am partial to the ..45 acp but that has nothing to do with my statement concerning the gap. my reasons are listed above and waiting to be disproven. most likely because you have already plucked down you money for one. i got a half dozen 1911s....and 10 brownings....dont even know how many s&w revolvers. it has nothing to do with brand or caliber loyalty and everything to do with waking up in the real world. to upset an established round you have to have something special to offer. the ..357 sig is an excellent example. its an awesome little round but just never took off because it just wasnt enough of a reason to switch. .

at some point those with narrow minds will hopefully accept that those who are anti-bush arent necessarily pro-kerry or any other dem. i never said nor do i think anyone has that being anti bush means being pro kerry. one country indeed but divided thanks to the polarizers like bush. bush didnt divide the nation any more than kerry did. what divides this nation is the lack of respect for the office no matter who is in it. blame the man in it blame public attitude blame loose ethics whatever. the point is it starts with the citizens of the nation when it comes to respecting the office of president. regardless of who is in that office the decisions are surely more than the average citizen would care to take on. thus the respect should be inherent. if you truly think that bush or kerry polarized this country alone it is you who is narrow minded. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .

i used the rik-ram kit... great stuff! interesting. i went to the sight and now i see all you have is the same lights i got stock. if i understand this correctly you installed a relay on your existing circuit and powered the better lights via that relay. stunning technology. just think for a mere $50-100 more you could have had body color bumpers and grille. dont get me wrong im glad you are happy with the upgrade. however it seems to me that stern is selling you something that almost anyone could come up with. credit to him for cashing in on the kit idea but thumbs down to calling himself an expert/consultant when purveying something that isnt exactly cutting edge. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
