OT - Some crazy turbo charging going on across the pond.

Q: suddenly after never having trouble with the doors my drivers door wont open with outside or inside buttons or handle. ive taken the inside panel off and can see it all is moving but no door open. do any have and idea how i can get it open short of c4 so i can get and replace the latch piece. love the beast and was getting it up to where i could travel a bit with it show off when this happened. any help would be appriciated. thanks sunmac .

anyone have a clean and neat way of changing oil on these trucks i like the fact the engineers placed a tray underneath the oil filter to help catch the oil but i still have a time doing it without making at the least a small mess. i would appreciate any insight to this simple but crucial task. tia hawkeye65 .

as for the batteries and re-programming my system has not required that i do anything after i replace the batteries. so no re-programming of any of the functions that i use it for. there might be some functions/features that some people use that *might* require programming it again but im not aware of any of them. that price sounds ridiculously cheap. i hunted around and 300 about a year ago was the best i found so be careful to check that seller out make sure its not re-man or fallen off a truck. --hc .

the only thing i can thank of is fiddle around with it. if anything try prying it from the inside that way you wont leave any dents on the outside. screwdrivers and whatnot are your best friend for this sort of thing. c4 on the other hand is not. maybe a rpgyou might have to remove the whole locking mechanism to loosen it up. that might work. .

ok i know about the typical problems with the saturated floats. but has anybody seen a problem with the fuel gauge where it doesnt come up to full after a fill-up until after you turn the engine off and back on a time or two seems to be more of a computer issue than a stuck or saturated float. .
