Q: craig christian wrote very few companies get away with the kind of price goudging that oil companies do. they get away with it because of the $$ they contribute to the law makers and probably to judges as well. all in my opinion of course. ahh you want more government regulation rather than supply/demand economics for the oil industry in the usa. common misconception that it will help anything. even hinting that bush has a better environmental stand is absolutlely rediculous and his record proves it. if you cant admit that then you are very blinded by the right wing. the public does drive policy in this area ... by electing a leader that will push it! define better bush is more realistic meaning facing reality when it comes to energy/enviromental trade off issues. now how will kerry push it give billions to private industry to fund alternative fuel research wheres that money going to come from if the money wont come from the publics own demand for it then its gotta come from us tax payers and that is not being realistic. kerry talks and the left bites without facing the realities of it. ill be cancelling your vote on 11/2 and i will have a clear conscience that i have made the best decision for myself and my country. will your conscience be clear when you vote for someone that is going to continue kicking ass as he sees fit and alienating us from the world the time for the decades old policy of waiting for disaster and tragedy to hit our shores and then and only then go after someone in a policing action is over. the left wont face the reality of just what terrorism is all about. kerry last week made the statement to the effect that its time to get back to where terrorism was just a nusance similar to prostitution and illegal gambling. this statement of his scares the heck out of me. it is clear that kerry just doesnt understand the dangers of the policies of decades gone by where we treated terrorism as just a nusance to deal with. that time is now over and my conscience will be clear by voting for someone that wont put us back to the days of treating terrorism as simply a nusance like prositution and illegal gambling. what a stupid statement kerry made. as for alienating us from the world what part of the world do you refer russia perhaps they learned recently the hard way. they subscribed to your methods of gaining global support. they got other countries to sign on with them but with one serious condition. resistance fighters cant be labled as terrorists. then russia lost 100s of kids to resistance fighters. now russia will do an about face on the global support issue and will fight any way they have to. that is facing the reality of it all something the left here just hasnt learned yet. someone that will be no closer to a solution on alternative energy or the war on terror in 4 more years frankly i hope he puts a pipeline in your state .. well see how much you like him after that. we have a pipeline in our state. it ruptured a few months ago. we need a new one built asap. so your point is libya has changed for the better afghanistan now has people voting for the first time in history iraq will vote later this year. it might not be perfect but it is closer to a solution. if kerry had his way saddam would still be in power and have control over kuwait kerry voted against the gulf war. we would not have the b2 bomber or much of any new military hardware kerry voted against almost all of it. no way would i call that closer to a solution. .
