Q: omg thats a horrible omission... ! ive seen more than my share of front-end failures on the s-10 platform - those ridiculous $583.00 abs hubs all the oil cooler lines leaking the air pump water intrusion debacle and on & on... but thats insane about the rear brakes. it aint too bad to adjust by sliding them off and on between adjustments if the drums dont have a lip on them from wear. if they do its resurface central. i have to say that this vehicle comes across as a bargain basement disposable... and i havent even started on the 4l60e tranny / valve body and dexcool related failures! the 4l60e is a nasty bugger aint she as for the dex if folks changed it every 100k or 5 years and made sure the rad cap was working properly and kept the reservoir filled there would be far fewer problems. any air in the system and that shit gets nasty fast. the op was cross-posting to the a.a.ford group... among others... yeah he kinda sent out an apb eh doc rob .
