just had a factory recall on our 98 caravans 3.3 fuel rail. i believe it is a known problem. big deal chrysler had a recall on my 1986 2.2 turbo for leaking hoses on the fuel rail. that was back in about 1987 the biggie to remember is that gasoline doesnt need a good excuse to catch fire under the hood. screw around much more and youll be toasting marshmallows by the side of the road ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

says... hello ive got a 91 dynasty 3.3 that has started leaking fuel along the rail. i thought it might just be the injector leaking because the one nearest to the leak is the only injector that is wet but when i start it the bend in the rail closest to the wet injector gets wet before the injector does. called the dealership..they want $275 for the rail. calling salvage yards now but they dont have any locally which i find hard to believe. im going to pull off the intake and see if i can replace the o-rings on the wet injector and see if that cures it but i have my doubts. anyone else experienced this thanks mike just had a factory recall on our 98 caravans 3.3 fuel rail. i believe it is a known problem. chas .

well after sleeping on the idea overnight i decided to go ahead and get the rail from the dealer instead of salvage....mostly because i didnt want myself or the guy in the yard end up causing it to leak by yanking it off a junker. i got the price down to $206 because i work at a local auto parts store. i asked them why its so high for no more than what it is. they said..because its about the only place you can get them. gotta love those guys..... i guess im going to replace that one wet injector too. when i pulled off the power connector it had fuel inside of it. the way the connector is sealed on there i dont see how that leaking rail could have leaked into the connector. thanks for the input... mike just had a factory recall on our 98 caravans 3.3 fuel rail. i believe it is a known problem. big deal chrysler had a recall on my 1986 2.2 turbo for leaking hoses on the fuel rail. that was back in about 1987 the biggie to remember is that gasoline doesnt need a good excuse to catch fire under the hood. screw around much more and youll be toasting marshmallows by the side of the road lets just hope that those marshmallows arent still on him while he is roasting them. .
