New Fun With Dakota Engine Swap

Q: okay progress is being made - engine is in - it started it ran...it quit. wouldnt restart john pulled a battery cable gave it a minute to think about its sins hooked it back up it started and ran. went back out today - wont start. no spark no fuel. also no wiring diagram. anybody know of any secret hidden fuses/fusible links/voodoo charms that we dont know about this is the sort of thing that always ends with him throwing tools and me sitting in the cold with a multimeter making up new combinations of cuss words and its nasty out and im not in the mood. hes better at that stuff but i have more patience. id rather not have to use it so im hoping this means something to someone or someone knows where theres a wiring diagram thats legible - ie not in the haynes manual. pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease it twentyfour degrees out and windy. .
