Q: claud spinks wrote i am looking at used 2002 - 2003 ram 1500 quad cabs to purchase. i have really been impressed at these trucks. hope to get a deal done in the next week or so. are there any issues with these vehicles not any more than any other make/model. my opinion is to not bother with the 4.7l or 5.2l except in a 2wd standard cab. they are just too weak for a heavy truck. the 5.9l or the newer hemi are much stronger and gas mileage isnt enough different to worry about. .
