Q: is there a good honest and reliable source of parts for this van with a presumed a-833 transmission. shame that places like nappa and others of that type dont have those kinds of parts. seems like the transmission shops have a closed loop on the parts that exclude the shade tree mech. .

there are many mopar performance dealers who will sell those parts for 10-15% over cost to folks who have some sort of affiliation such as belonging to the local mopar club etc. he can also put that number into mancinis or summit racings web site and see what their prices are the part number is p4529834 ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .

i agree anyone who cant tell the rear universal joint is bad from listening to it deserves whatever they get. problem is fixed. i like to follow up my post with the solution so that others can learn. i want to thank my friend who posted to my question for the time he took to help. the problem ultimatly turned out to be the unversal joint at the back of the truck by the rear end. ill start watching reality tv shows when i can vote people off the planet. .
