steve i am just the programmer here but from overhearing the engineers here i do know that increasing the stroke increases the piston velocity because the piston has to travel farther in the same amount of time which increases the pressure drop or vacuum between the intake and piston top. this increased vacuum sucks in more air or fills the cylinder more completley especially at low rpm. does this make sense steve when our auto tech learning series is up and running you can get more specific answers to these questions. i think it will start sometime in late august. thanks for your input. mario steve barker wrote im kinda curious as to how increasing the stroke of an engine can helps fill the cylinder more completely .
