Q: http//www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/productdisplay/s-10101/storeid-10101/p-14 4992/c-10101/catalogid-10101 i am a rookie to this cb stuff i am using one of those cheep windshield mounted one.. and yes its coming loose. i am going to get this when i can justify there $7.95 s&h fee. just remember our new dodges have a micro antenna connection so you will need an adapter. radio shack maybe w5o0xq wrote get a ham radio license and quit fooling around with that stupid cb stuff. al i think by now we all understand your position on ham radios. i do not personally own a ham radio nor do i desire to own one. i may be overstepping my bounds by speaking for the group as a whole but i will anyway. the question was about cb radios. it was a specific question about cb radios. it was not intended to open a discussion about alternatives to cb radios. i get hours of enjoyment operating my cb when on road trips. i like the idea of being close in proximity of the person i am talking to. it seems to make conversation more personal. if i wanted to talk to people at long distances at random i would use my free long distance calling minutes on my cell phone dialing at random to far away places. thank you for suggesting the use of ham radios as some readers may consider this as an alternative to the topic being discussed. by the way you are a cross-posting troll. if there is not enough message traffic in your pathetic radio group to keep you entertained all you have to do is subscribe to additional groups. .
