Mega Cab Long Bed?

From : henry ammons

Q: of an effect on the ability to plow with the vehicle such as manuvering and blind spots most plowing is done looking ahead. blind spots go with the game. snow can cause blind spots from one minute to the next. wheel base has to do with manuvering not cab size. fair enough. i dont think i would use such an expensive vehicle to push snow around when far less expensive models could do it just as well if not better but as i said before thats just my personal choice. im with tbone and budd -- i love the old trucks -- who wants to get a brand new truck scratched up plowing when you can get a cheap old reliable d150 the thing with a older truck is that plowing snow really takes its toll on a truck and reliability suffers. it doesnt matter how careful you are or how anal you are about maintance. after about 5 years ya have to just about rebuild them due to the wear and tear salt water and abuse. we get calls all the time from customers who have hired some guy who with a older truck that gave them a low price that didnt show up. believe me it doesnt work out. maybe a older truck used around your property and your neighbors but not in commercial operation. and if you really want something you can mount a plow on and use to carry the crew and tools try an old cargo van -- not the same maneuverability but an all round relaiable work truck. a plow on a cargo van roy .

agreed there is no doubt that once they find there is a market for the stuff they will sell rather than pay to get rid of it. however the sources for this go into the farming industry as soy beans are a cheap source of the raw material. i doubt the government will have to subsidize this industry it just makes too much sense and there is too much opportunity to make a whole economic cycle out of it. ive done a bunch of research on this as i drive a diesel. this fuel will be much more regionally priced for quite a while. that is to say the closer to the source you are the cheaper itll be. after a couple of years itll get big enough that itll either compete with traditional fuel at a slightly better price or itll find an industry standard price. but i doubt that itll need much money from the government to get it started since many of these companies are starting in peoples garages with the small units. the scale on which they can make fuel leads me to estimate profitability within a few months depending on amounts made. id do it myself only ive got an idea i might be out of business shortly afterwards given what i know about local stuff from my inside sources. if the event im told about doesnt materialize im going after it. -- max there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author max dodge wrote because of subsidies if so thats not real economics - thats politics - and someone is losing money/paying for it i.e. the taxpayer. have you done the websearch i suggested i doubt it since you havent come up with the facts yet. biodiesel is relatively easy and cheap to manufacture. there is no need for subsidy since half the raw material can be either gotten for free or the producer pays for you to remove it. there are several companies currently doing r&d on various methods all of whom are looking to do this as a capitalist venture with no subsidies. instead of barking the same old bark inform yourself. youre right - i was thinking of gasahol. i am familiar with biodiesel. i do question the volume of free material to convert much less ones that pay you to take it once it catches on. right now with it just ramping up there is a lot of free raw material to convert - restaurants etc. are glad to give away what they presently have to pay a disposal service to haul away. it just seems that when it is being produced at levels approaching a moderate fration of traditional diesel the market forces will treat it like any other commodity - the sources realizing that they are giving away something that actually has value will start charging what the market will bear for the presently free material - it will start with the disposal companies being paid good money for the material they collect and eventually paying the restaurants etc. for the unconverted material. but you are right - it will start having a beneficial influence on the traditional fuel markets. bill putney to reply by e-mail replace the last letter of the alphabet in my address with the letter x .

heres a followup to a post from earlier this month. i picked up my truck from the repair shop and they said it started and ran just fine. i drove it for several days without any problem. then one monring it did it again. engine would turn over and it was making an effort to fire but would never catch on. this afternoon i purchased a fuel pressure tester and the pressure tests out at 42 psi and stays constant with the ignition key on. i pulled the front 4 plugs and each was covered in fluid. i held a match to one of the wet plugs to see if it would burn and it didnt. i guess the mechanic was right when he said that the engine had a blown head gasket and the plugs were wet with coolant. but how could a blown head gasket put coolant on every plug unless the head gasket was totally obliterated i could see maybe one or two cylinders being affected but all eight is there another way that coolant could be getting in the cylinders please help!! .

dear professional equipment tools and plain old stuff keeps on getting more advanced heavy and expensive. people need to move this equipment from place to place and as such the number of back injuries is constantly increasing. unfortunately the global economy dictates that we have to do more in less time. this is a deteriorating situation and will only get worse. well there is good on the horizon for those that have the need to regularly or periodically lift heavy objects. the spitzlift. the spitzlift is a 33 lb portable crane that has a lifting capacity of 700 pounds. it mounts to just about any vehicle or stationary object and in many cases mounts in minutes with no modifications! when the job is done the crane folds up into a nice tidy package that can be stored behind the seat in a pickup or in the closet or garage. it is the tool that people have been looking for! it can be employed for any number of uses * facilities maintenance * machine shops * engine shops * hunters * plumbers * at ikea to lift boxes into the back of the truck or suv * ay home depot to load heavy boxes * at home while working on the project car * when moving into a new home and there is a need to lift heavy boxes. * at the river to load and unload the personal watercraft * in the field to lift up the game for dressing out * highway contractors * law enforcement * hvac contractors * military * many others.... best of all is the affordability of the spitzlift. a complete system for a vehicle with a 2 tow receiver only costs $799.95. order before the end of january and receive a 20% discount. fleet discounts available. come to www.spitzlift.net to see more details. regards david inniss vice president marketing hirok inc 1924 mission road suite n escondido ca 92029 david.i@spitzlift.net .

max dodge wrote fortunately when most of the u.s. was opposed to going to war in 1940 we decided to enter the european theatre regardless. that is simply not true. in fact even hollywood would be shamefaced to drift that far from reality. well alan i guess you forgot about lend lease destroyers the four stackers as they were called and the huge amounts of supplies and milatary hardware shipped to england from 1939 to 1941 prior to pearl harbor. further i guess you forgot the guys who died on patrol aboard the u.s.s. reuben james in the north atlantic while escorting a convoy. they died as a result of a torpedo attack on the ship with a loss of over 100 men on october 31st 1941. this was just the first of iirc four usn ships sunk prior to war being declared. that is *not* entering the european theatre as you claimed. in addition all of these events were part of the reason that there is a theory that fdr conspired to get us into the war. in order to continue sending supplies to england if not increase the amounts it has been supposed that fdr deliberately allowed pearl harbor to occur. pure speculation. graham .
