Q: hello. i have recently purchased a 97 dodge 4x4 cummins diesel truck. a friend strongly recommends i install a reyco water separator or some other brand in addition to the oem fuel/water filter. he doesnt seem to think much of the oem fuel/water filter. his background is repairing diesel logging equipment in northern ontario. do i really need to do this the owners manual recommends against this. thanks in advance for any advise. irp .
