Magnum 1.7 rockers

Q: i was looking through the jegs mopar performance section and noticed the magnum 1.7 rocker kit. anyone have any experience with these on a 5.2 or 5.9 dakota or ram i figure if valve lift is like it used to be .410 lift with 1.5 ratio rockers then the valve lift should be ..464 with the 1.7 rockers. nice increase without doing any engine teardown. =20 one more question i always thought the mopar engines used shaft rockers. did they switch over to stud mounted rockers with the magnum engine =20 any good books or magazine recommendations would be helpful as well. i need to catch up on the late model mopar stuff. =20 -- dan amborn damborn@guy.com .
