Q: iamgoode@aol.com iamgoode wrote in looking to replace my spekers and want to get something to match the factory infinity amps. can some one tell me the rms/peak watt ratings input apreciated. sean rec.bicycles.marketplace the factory infinify amp is nothing special - its about 15-20 watts rms per channel if that the peak power rating is 40 watts per channel as specified in the dodge literature. most decent aftermarket head units are more powerful. one thing to note the front speakers are component speakers in that they use a crossover to separate highs from lows. youll need a separate woofer/tweeter combination to replace them. if youre just replacing speakers and leaving everything else alone you wont need the crossover itself as thats built into the factory wiring. also due to the relatively low power of the infinity amp youll want to get the most efficient speakers you can find. a spl sound pressure level of 92 or higher would be good. regards joe .

think of the anvil my friend . . it design is simple yet elegant functional but with a beauty of its own but you can smack the tar out of it with your biggest hammer and it remains simple and elegant. . . . if you can go with the mechanical its more like an anvil. -- budd still putting together a list for my dream truck. i prefer the manual 4wd. however there are options that i want in the laramie that force me to pick the h package dual zone temperature control which also contains electronic 4wd. is electronic 4wd still considered a maintence nightmare like it use to be parts moving all of the time or has it been perfected to the point that there is viturally no difference between electronic and manual thanks craig c. .

kurt i have an 04 ho 3500 dually. it has 1200 miles on the clock. the first week i saw 15. i see 16.2 now. i have a 4.10 axle. i have seen 17.5 by being very careful. i expect 18 to 21 when broken in a bit. i have also purchased the banks kit but not yet installed it. i suspect an increase in mileage there as well. steve anybody yet found out the miles per gallon for the new 2004 ho cummins i am disapointed only getting 16 miles per gal. and i am an easy driver not hot roding or having a lead foot. the 1995 i traded in was getting a constant 22 miles per gl. and it had the banks super stinger installed. no wise cracks please if you can not be decent do not bother. emil may have already answered this cant see my own posts my 04 600 ctd six speed 4x4 got 19.6 out of the very first tank. mixed city/highway driving. on the highway going 75 to 80 it gets around 13. boo! i want to try a tank at a steady 60 mph but im always in a hurry. this is miles divided by gallons not the trucks computer. btw mine has 3.73 gears. a guy i work with has an 02 hd ctd with a six speed and he claims he gets over 20 on the highway. its also a 4x4. al 92 w250 360 5 speed 4.10 screw. going up for sale. first $3000 gets it. .
