MANT REQD light

Q: my 94 dodge ram has mant reqd warning light on. the local tire store mechanic says everything is ok but he doesnt know how to turn off the light. any buddy know how to do this advise would be appriecated. thanks bruce brshirring@aol.com .

jeepnutz wrote unless your tire store mechanic was able to check all the systems on your vehicle id take it to the dealer. wow another idiot rooting for the ultimate in idiot lights... check engine light == computer detects a real problem maintenance required == total time/milage based idiot light. two scenarios if you google there is probably some method to turn it off. some combination of stupid crap you need to do or there is a little button youll need to poke with a paperclip. check the manual - the light sometimes goes on for emissions related items that the manufacturer will cover. if not - find the trigger switch or kill the light you know your inner child is yearning to destroy that stupid bulb js my 94 dodge ram has mant reqd warning light on. the local tire store mechanic says everything is ok but he doesnt know .
