yea and that is big business and the republican party protecting it but this has little to do with black boxes. i know i sound like some lunatic living in the mountains of idaho in a tiny log cabin; ranting on and on about big govt and big business as evil enterprises. they are not evil they just dont care. youre just a wallet to them. any oppurtunity to open that wallet a litle wider can and will be used. while true for most businesses i cant say that about all or even most of government. i still dont see how government can make money from this unless you are referring to the government creating tools for business to make more money and with the current administration i would agree but we are the ones that put them there. for example. lets say youre shopping for car insurance. when i was young you called a few agents around town they looked in the big book added their fee and quoted you a price. you made 6-8 phone calls then made a decision. simple. now what happens you make those same 6-8 calls or web site visits. but do you get a quote right away no they call you back later. why because your rates are based in part on your credit rating! so they do an inquiry to trw. if there are too many inquiries on trw your file is marked and flags go up. then your rating goes down. and your insurance quote goes up. why does this happen because the insurance companies conned/paid/whatever the board in to believing that customers with lower credit ratings were a greater accident risk and therefore could be charged more for the same product. actually if you do a little research you will find this to be a somewhat valid statement. people with lower credit ratings tend to be less responsible in life and that tends to reflect on their driving as well which makes them a greater risk. while it is not 100% accurate it is a method to keep rates in check. after all insurance companies are in business to make money and why should i pay more for other irresponsible drivers. this really has nothing to do with a black box anyway since its data will never be seen unless the vehicle is in an accident. here again theyve used available technology to open your wallet a little wider. actually they are using the technology to direct the costs to those who have the higher potential to cause them to increase and i have no problem with that. do you think this magic black box under your dash will be any differant if you do then i have some ocean front property in az for sale. of course i do and so should you. the black box gives no information unless you connect something to it and the only reason that would be done is to see what was happening when an accident occurred. this will do nothing more than give added information to the officers investigating an accident and possibly help to determine the cause and who is at fault. this will possibly give enough information to the insurance companies to asses the added costs to the ones who are responsible if it looks like their driving at the time significantly increased the risk. people need to take responsibility for what they do. btw i went to the ffr factory saturday to take a look at the spyder. it really is an awesome car. now i have to see if i can legally own it here in nc. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving . 222 292999 za-dnecnzbdd4hlcrvn-iq@adelphia.com looking at a 04 1500 at a local dealer do these come with the chrysler 9 1/4 rear or something else this one has 4 wheel disks it doesnt come equipped with sure grip differential so this would be done soon after purchase also which rear has or had the problem of breaking. thanks. .

yep.. right after we institute the draft again... give it a few months. lets see it was kerry who said he would send in 40000 more troops and the dems in congress who are pushing for the draft. meanwhile bush is authorizing extended deployment and quicker call ups of reservists. bush knows a draft would be politically stupid although as a lame duck thats nto as big a concern and would counter most of his claims based on a volunteer military. further the military itself knows that a draft brings less than desirable candidates to operate the highly technical weapons systems. t-bone id certainly entertain informed rebuttal on the topic however you are lacking in that area. should you decide to reply bring facts and reason not rumor and conjecture. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .

tbone wrote lol the election is over there is no need for continued spin. kerry said that he would beat terrorism back until it was no more than a nuisance that is not what he said. now who is spinning kerry we have to get back to the place we were where terrorists are not the focus of our lives but theyre a nuisance. tom what you through ignorance are failing to realize is that there never was a time where terrorists were just a nuisance. it was our own ignorance that allowed us to treat them as such. we can not do what kerry wants. we cant get back to a place that did not exist. instead of controlling our lives like you are letting it do. i guess that you can be added to the fear vote as well as the greed one. call it what you want. i call it reality rather than the decades of ignorance that cost us badly. you still think that the methods used to combat terrorism for decades mainly as a criminal investigation is the method as kerry states we need to get back too. most of the country learned that is a bad way to view terrorism. you have yet to learn that but i have hope that some day you will. such ignorance is quite easy to see today. for 8 years arafat routinly paid visits to the wh under clinton. he visited more times than any other dignitary if you call arafat that. today we see france call arafat its great friend in need. this is the ignorance that 52% of us must fight against. youll figure it eventually. until then your party will continue to loose elections. anything you say miles. ya i know. arafat is a great dude and is why he was entertained at the wh by clinton more than any other foreign dignitary. .

whoa! you really have some things wrong. diesels do not require less maintenance they require more. they are more reliable because they are built to a continuous duty standard not an intermittent duty standard. diesel engines have identical efficiency standards when compared to gasoline standards in lbs of fuel per hp hour when the engines are of comparable design and the gasoline engine is run at wot. you must not compare the fuel comsumption by volume but by weight. diesel has 20% more energy by volume than gasoline. that does not make diesel more efficient just less expensive kilowatt by kilowatt. big difference. steve found the following in the sci.navy.mil group this was an impressive development http//www.peace65.freeserve.co.uk/pictures/mdieshdt3.pdf http//motorcyclecity.com/military-bikes/m1030diesel-kawasaki.htm id imagine that 3rd-world countries would be interested in this type of engine. a diesel engine tends to require less maintenance and is more tolerant of fuel impurities eg. bio-diesel the greater fuel efficiency of the engine also looks attractive. with its higher torque at lower rpm id wonder if it wouldnt be good for small motorboats as well. .

i replaced the oem shocks on my 99 durango with bilsteins and they are truly awesome! far more control smooth firm ride no more involuntary lane changes when driving over rough roads. cmoorhead@mindspring.com on 28 oct 2004 055209 -0700 racerx@tomatoweb.com ken wrote says... ken racerx@tomatoweb.com wrote i just purchased an 03 3/4 ton with the hemi in it. of the three trucks i have owned over the years this one handles the worst around corners and over wet pavement. heck its so bad that i dont dare go over 60 around a certain broad sweeping freeway curve i used to take at 80 with the ford i used to have. i know its not a sportscar but this thing feels like a roller skate. it needs help in a bad way. does anyone have any ideas they have tried which work thanks! heres another fan of the michelin ltx m/s tires. also consider upgrading the shocks. the stock shocks on my dakota were pathetic and the replacment kybs make it handle much better. also look into rear anti-sway bars which will reduce understeer. having recently owned/driven both a ram mine has 17 tires off road package and a late model gm 4x4 i have to say the gm did handle better especially on rough pavement. i think shocks are the main cause as the ride on smooth pavement is actually better on the ram. both of these are half tons but i occasionally drive my friends 2004 ram 2500 and while its a bit bouncier it is roughly equal to my truck in cornering. its tires blow on wet pavement touchy as hell. they are not the oem tires though they got sliced up at a motel parking lot and he bought new tires at the sears practically next door to not screw up the trip they were on at the time. see if the dealer will let you drive another truck to see if you notice any big difference between it and your truck. b so the deal here is to replace the ltx a/s tires i have now with either the ltx m/s or ltx a/t both from michelin now about the load range. i found that curious because mine are load range e and ive never seen that on a 3/4 ton before. im wondering if that isnt a problem. ive seen a truck with d tires carry 4000 lbs. mines a shortbed and i dont plan to abuse it that much. are the tires too hard my brother runs dunlops in load range d i think and hes happy as a clam. also its interesting that you mention shocks. ive been eyeing edelbrocks ias series. any thoughts ken .

in some ways you really cant blame the electorate. everyday of the campaign theyre bombarded by high dollar political ads designed and worded to hide truth while delivering a full package of lies if needed at the opponents and promises to never be kept. it could be said the way they manipulate emotions that political ads are the ultimate examples of media advertising. . . . and many people fall for them just like those that have to order the latest ronco pocket fisherman / ginzu knife / gps locater / engine hoist / julienne french fry cutter. but wait 4 years and well have 6 hour political infomercials. ^ -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. theguy wrote on wed 03 nov 2004 152851 gmt trey treydog90spam@hotmail.com wrote user@domain.invalid wrote nothing more to say....just dig a hole and stay in it for another 4 years. actually it looks like the dumbshit is not going to win since bush is in the lead. the last comment for me is this this thing is over. over. done. finished. bush won. that is the american system. we call it democracy. if kerry would have won i was prepared to shut up and support him. i expect those that supported kerry to put your booboo lips away and accept the majority decision. this whole attitude that your opinion somehow is more knowledgable and honorable than the majority of the voters pisses me off. grow up. i do not claim to be any smarter then anyone else. however i do find it annoying when people bad mouth or insult the president or the candidates so blindly. it just seems to be a blind hatred of the opposing party. .

i was in mexico a few years back 1999 and saw a few different models there that i have never seen in n america one was a full size suv that looked like a modern day ramcharger based on the ram fullsize truck. from the back it looked like a big durango but was 2 door. it didnt have any badges other than dodge on it. i quickly wrote down the serial # and when i got home i got the parts dept to run the serial number at the dodge dealer where i work. i came up as unknown dodge truck made in mexico. there were lots of these vehicles down there too. definitly ram based. had the exact dash assy. thei is probably the new version of the same based on the new dr ram platform. i also saw 5 ton ram trucks down there. the use them to deliver coke-a-cola. huge trucks with 21 wheels and cut out fenders and longer grills to make up the space for a dropped bumper. was pretty neat. never seen anything like them in usa or canada on sat 30 oct 2004 020551 gmt nosey kfrei43@removethis.hotmail.com wrote nosey wrote can anyone id the dodge truck in this picture i scanned it from a tire sale advertisement that came in the mail. it looks like the mexican ramcharger but its a 4-door. bad link try this one. http//tinyurl.com/6p4hm please remove dontspam for e-mail reply .
