Q: jtailor@new.rr.com says... i figured out the replacement part for myself. i was trying to turn the actual bulb unit and not the plastic ring that holds the bulb in place. live and learn. now just need input on the adjustment side of things. hi all im trying to replace the headlamp bulbs in my 1999 dodge grand caravan. i took of the power connectors/leads but am having a hard time getting the actual bulb units out of the housing. im pretty sure its just a matter of turning them in one direction or the other but im using a fair amount of force and they dont seem to budge. any advice to help me would be appreciated. also one headlamp seems dim compared to the other. no clouding or dulling of either of the lenses. i saw that each of the lamp housings are adjustable and have calibration scales on them; one for level both have the same reading so i assume they are correct and one for angle along the horizontal has a transparent plastic disc with a lever. does anyone know what the readings for each should be. again im guessing that the drivers side should be different than the passenger side but i could be wrong. thanks in advance. jitendra 99 dodge grand caravan es i am glad you figured that out. i wish i had. i did force the light until the three plastic guides broke off in the light. welcome to hurtsville. about $125 later i had a new headlamp assembly. chas .
