Location of AC blower resistor
From : funky trilobyte
Q: 99 ram 2500 cummins. the ac currently blows on high or not at all. from what ive gathered from this group its a likely a resistor pack. sounds easy enough to replace -- if i can find it. its either behind the glovebox how the hell do i take it off or bolted to the firewall on the passenger side but i havent seen a reference to my exact vehicle. plus i dont know that the think looks like. i ordered my service manual from dodge yesterday so fufture questions will hopefully be more informed. also where can i get this part for a good price i asked a local dealer and they said about $50 for the part plus another $25 for the labor to install it. prices ive seen tossed around online were between $8 and $18. autozone and nappa online show this part unavailable for my truck. am i looking for it under the wrong name or is this a dealer-only kind of part thanks. .
