you do realize that if you turn the lights off after the door is open they will stay on for about 30 seconds bill love my 03 ram 4x4 quad hemi. with dodge its always been the little things that are crappy ;^ my headlight switch is annoying. i have foglights. unless i turn the headlight dial slowly to off position when i get out of the truck my headlights are still on. not that im cranking it off super super fast but more like anyone would - normal speed. but normal speed somewho is too fast for the headlight switch to register the input. anyone else have this troublke is there a fix thanks todd in cincinnati .

if you turn the lights off when the engine is running the lights go out. if you turn the lights off after you turn the engine off the lights stay on for 30 sec or so. if you rtom we wouldnt have had the pleasure of meeting you today. you chose a great truck although a ctd and laramie would have been nicer. enjoy it. any problems come on back. fmb only one b in fmb my bad. youre right. i said if you had the door open but that was the one time i shut the truck off before turning the headlights off. not too hard to figure out anyway. bill .

for the relatively low cost id suggest that you get a haynes manual and look at the procedure shown there. youll have a lot better idea of whether or not you want to try it plus youll have the book for any future repair decisions. ken i kinda doubt that a haynes manual or chilton for that matter will cover any of this. though it is good to have some reference material even if its as weak as a haynes manual. .

sorry fmb hit the reply to sender instead of reply to group button. my bad. i said lights stay on after door is open because that is the only time i turned the lights off after the motor was shut down. not too hard to figure out though. its a courtesy light thing. hit the switch again and they will turn off immediately instead of timing out. bill if you turn the lights off when the engine is running the lights go out. if you turn the lights off after you turn the engine off the lights stay on for 30 sec or so. if you rtom we wouldnt have had the pleasure of meeting you today. you chose a great truck although a ctd and laramie would have been nicer. enjoy it. any problems come on back. fmb only one b in fmb love my 03 ram 4x4 quad hemi. with dodge its always been the little things that are crappy ;^ my headlight switch is annoying. i have foglights. unless i turn the headlight dial slowly to off position when i get out of the truck my headlights are still on. not that im cranking it off super super fast but more like anyone would - normal speed. but normal speed somewho is too fast for the headlight switch to register the input. anyone else have this troublke is there a fix thanks todd in cincinnati .
