Lift Pump Replacement 1998 1/2 Dodge Cummins

Q: all; just ran into the typical change the fuel filter and truck will not start problem. to correct the problem i pressurized the fuel tank forcing fuel to the lift pump. after the lift pump was primmed the truck ran as it did before. i believe i have a lift pump going out again. is there a good quality replacement lift pump on the market or do i make another trip back to the dealer. tia .

im not sure how simular this might be but i have 01 dodge diesel 3/4 p/u. i wanted to put some performance products on it. i the first thing the shop wanted to do is check the fuel pressure. sure enough they recomended since it was in warrenty to have dodge replace the lift pump. the truck had 26000 miles. i find out this is not an exception. dodge replaced the lift pump and i had another pump installed in series with the factory lift pump. also i now have a fuel pressure gauge. jerry all; just ran into the typical change the fuel filter and truck will not start problem. to correct the problem i pressurized the fuel tank forcing fuel to the lift pump. after the lift pump was primmed the truck ran as it did before. i believe i have a lift pump going out again. is there a good quality replacement lift pump on the market or do i make another trip back to the dealer. tia .
