for some reason i keep getting a mailer -demeon message when i reply to my first message. anyway tom said is it dropping to 3rd gear or is the torque converter unlocking if it dropped from 4th to 3rd at 45mph youd go from about 1400rpm up to about 1900rpm - youd notice it. if the converters unlocking it would only be about a 200rpm or so increase. if its the converter unlocking it could also be the brake pedal switch. if the pcm thinks youre stepping on the brakes it will unlock the converter. my response i would have to agree that the converter is not locking. i have a bd brake and torc-loc. its not locking the converter with the switch on. its supposed to be completely disconnected when the switch is off. i found no trouble codes. the tps ecm and pcm all contribute to the tc lock-up. maybe my best course of action is to take it in for dodge service but ive got a feeling that theyre going to say its the bd and the folks who installed the bd are going to say its a dodge problem. where the hell does that leave me .

have a reason but i dont get it. and im not too crazy about it. anyway mabey somebody here can shed some light on it. thanks tom two reasons.... first the compressor will run if the system is in any of the a/c modes max normal or bi-level or if either defrost or floor/defrost is selected. so the only positions where the compressor wont operate are the panel vents only or floor vents only. when conditioning the air or defrosting its advantageous to extract as much moisture out of the air as possible. and second its not good for an a/c system to go months on end without operating. by operating the compressor more youre actually extending the life of it. the load of the a/c compressor is pretty minimal considering. and please - dont complain about fuel mileage with a v10 sitting under your hood and i can speak to that since i own two of them. you didnt buy it for its economy so dont expect as much. .

define better bush is more realistic meaning facing reality when it comes to energy/enviromental trade off issues. now how will kerry push it give billions to private industry to fund alternative fuel research wheres that money going to come from if the money wont come from the publics own demand for it then its gotta come from us tax payers and that is not being realistic. kerry talks and the left bites without facing the realities of it. money to finance kerrys plans and social pet projects will come from a national sales tax which will be in addition to the present federal income tax. that is how he was able to make a promise during the last debate about no more income tax. his new tax will be a national sales tax. around kerry campaign hq they will readily admit to kerrys plans for a national sales tax. john z kerry president t-bone steak houses .
