Installing an amp on 1997 dodge dakota

Q: i am trying to run the power wire from the battery to the amp. i was wondering if anybody could tell me the best way to get the wire through the firewall to the back. .

find a grommet like the one that all the wires for the main harness run through and run the wire there. there is no reason unless there is absolutely no other means to drill or cut a new hole. do not run it through the door jamb or you will be asking for problems. i am trying to run the power wire from the battery to the amp. i was wondering if anybody could tell me the best way to get the wire through the firewall to the back. a 2 inch hole saw politics the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich. .
