Q: two subjects!! curious after reading the gun control thread. how many of you are legally licensed to carry a concealed hand gun not to transport but to carry concealed it anywhere the law allows. i have a ccw though the state of az with the exception of tombstone is an open carry state and a permit is not required. but do a lot of folks carry denny yeah actually down here there are a lot that do. there are more that will carry consealed then open but with being 30 miles from the mexican boarder its pretty much common place to carry. .

tom lawrence wrote awww.... ya done caught me in a fib... gates part # 22038 sells for $2.70 at rock auto. yep - my whole post is complete bullshit because i missed the price by 70 cents. well geez 70 cents is almost a dollar which would make the hose price nearly 50% more than stated! can anyone trust someone nearly 50% off in what they say this is known as the k&n line of cost reasoning and we all know how that goes! just my 70 cents. smh .

got it back on level ground cracked a couple injector connections and cranked on it. started up without too much more ado. im still a little perplexed as the lift pump just seems to crank out the juice and pressurizes right up to 15psi but am thinking about an aftermarket pump mounted low on the frame back near the tank just to make sure. i appreciate the responses! .

mike simmons mikesim@yhti.net stated which i commented on below not sure if this is possible but i would like to add heated seats to my truck. its a 2006 power wagon but its pretty much an slt interior with cloth seats. they didnt order the heated seats and i am not sure whether that was because they were cloth seats or they just felt like not ordering them. ive seen numerous 3rd party solutions and may go with one of them but want to explore factory oem options first. questions do the seats already have the heater installed and wiring in place and is it just a matter of obtaining the dash switch you will have to check your truck for sure but i doubt that the wiring is already in place. reason i asked that is because i am adding uconnect and found out that all the wiring is already in place. just need to obtain the units mirror and unit behind the glove box. i kind of thought it may be the same issue with the seats but not sure. if not then would i need to just purchase the heat pad from dodge or go after market to go oem at this point would be prohibitively expensive imho inless money is no object. the katzskins aftermarket heated covers are very nice and much less pricey. i dont know if the heaters are sold separately or not check with an vendor. would the after market pads work with the factory switches factory switches just fit in the opening in the dash you can easily use the swicthes for an oem look. or am i wasting my time no heated seats are never a waste of time.... contrary to the opinion of others in this group. ;^ mike tia... ace mike thanks for the detailed response. i couldnt find any direct links for places selling katzskins but found many references mentioning them as a great option. after looking around a bit last night i found a few places on heated seats but the one that stands out seems to be www.heatedseatkits.com and www.heatmyseats.com. i found specifically dual seat deluxe carbon fiber seat heater kit http//www.sportsimportsltd.com/dualseatdelc.html. they advertise an oem version and a non-oem. i guess what they mean by oem is the type of carbon heater they offer. but not sure if it will work with the factory switches. it seems like they dont and not sure how to make them work. not sure what to get. what is nice is they offer a video on how to install them. i looked around my area and found one place that does seat upholstery etc but they refuse to deal with heated seats. i havent looked anywhere else yet. i may order them and hire someone to do it for me since ive never had any luck with seat cushions. i heard dodge and others dont offer heated seats with cloth seats. would you know if thats true and if so why thanks mike! ace begin 666 trans1x1.gif k1te&.#ea0! /py! $+ !$1 $.p end .

ok i gotta ask. i can understand your warning about fram but i have been using wix filters for over 20 years and afaik they make a high quality filter so what is so dam special about fleetguard that puts them at such a high level where nothing else can be used or is this some warranty thing mainly a warranty thing. its pretty hard for a dealership to squawk about your choice of oil filter when you use the one recommended by the people that build the engine. and with cost between the two about equal $10.09 for a wix filter from napa $10.50 for a fleetguard stratapore filter from genos theres no reason not to use whats recommended. .
