Identifying a carburator?

From : Annonymous

Q: does the fuel line go into the fuel bowl from the passenger side of from the front side passenger side = holley from front = carter. -- budd cochran john 316-17 ephesians 28-9 romans 323 623 our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. it is wholly inadequate for the government of any other. john adams ive got a 75 1 ton 360 and it has a two barrel. first they told me at autozone there were 5 possible models. so ive looked around the web trying to figure out where and which of the numbers on my caburator is the correct one. i cant find a picture of mine and when i called back they said there were only two models and the carb kit covers both. not wanting to waste too much more time im looking for someone who might have an idea where i should look next. ken -- posted via a free usenet account from http//www.tera.com .

i have a 01 dakota 4.7l auto trans. hard as ever to start cold. sometimes hard to start even warm. i have to crank it 3 or 4 times as a norm unless i shut it off and start it within a couple minutes. there are no codes showing. i have already changed the idle air control solenoid valve dealer shop recommended and completely cleaned the intake area including the throttle position sensor. resistance readings on the tps show nothing wrong. once it starts it runs fine. there is a hissing like a vacuum leak behind the intake throat i cant track down and the dealer svc center says is normal. has anyone else here experienced this what was the fix........any suggestions from the rest thanks in advance joe original battery fmb north mexico .

tbone wrote if you own a gun or an arsenal of them as some in here seem to do and a gun is stolen and used in a crime and it was not properly secured then the owner should be held partly responsible. thats absurd. if someone breaks into a house steals a gun that didnt have a trigger lock on it and commits a crime then the house owner is party responsible yup gotta have it locked up. roy .

nosey wrote budd cochran wrote whats unproven about it your religion is based on faith. i applaud your faith. you have something to believe in. it is not based on fact but belief of the written word of man. i may - or may not - agree with your faith. that is irrelevant. the only proven fact is that its all unproven. i dont want to dispel any of your believings but if you want to debate the subject im willing. exactly!! budd is not wrong for his beliefs and i will never say hes wrong. he doesnt wish to debate however. he tells you what is right and wrong with whatever you may say. its a one-way discussion. .
