in one of the other ngs i follow someone mentioned that ford owns cummins. is there any truth to this did ford own a piece of cummins at one point in time who owns cummins now or are they on their own .

why reinvent the wheel this is a super site for dc http//www.dieseltruckresource.com/ specific to cummins pickups i like this type format better. i can send a message and everyone sees it and can answer. in dtr you have to post in a specific forum category which is a lot of times not convenient because not everyone will see it. i really was hoping there already was a usenet group but my service doesnt show any. if you really want to do cummins diesels subscribe to the tdr roy .

i agree with tom. my lift and injection pumps were recently replaced on my 01.5 cummins 4x4 $18499 see http//utilityoffroad.com/dodge to correct a problem identical to what you described. -- nathan w. collier http//7slotgrille.com http//utilityoffroad.com turbo wont spool up. sever lack of power and then bingo yer back in business. any idea whats the problem please post reply...thanx first thought is a weak lift pump and a possibly failing injection pump. get a fuel pressure gauge on there asap and make sure you have adequate pressure going to the vp44. .
