Q: on 16 nov 2004 035817 gmt tegger teggeratistopdotcom@changetheobvious.invalid wrote yeah by law since 1968 but i wonder about the effectiveness of that system. ive seen two 80s cars with very serious fluid leaks in the last year and braking performance was absolutely abysmal in both essentially non- existent in a corsica with a front caliper leak and decidedly feeble in an mr2 with a rusted line. how much braking as percentage of full are you supposed to get from a single side of a dual-circuit system anyway id bet the correct answer is not 50%. theoretically you start off at 50% but when you throw the effects of weight transfer and other factors in it is probably considerably less. .

on tue 16 nov 2004 151721 gmt tbone t-bonenospam@nc.rr.com wrote btw i was reading your posts in the pics.woodworking group about a dust collector. whatever size you get make sure to get the 1 micron or lower bags and put them on before you even start using it. the collector will work better and your lungs will thank you for it. i have a delta 1.5 hp and used it for about a year with its supplied 30 micron bags and while it did a great job with the big pieces there was a fine dust that kept plugging the filters on my air filter. since i replaced them with the 1 micron bags the collector has even more suction as expected and my dust filter filters last much longer. i got out voted on the 1 micron bag.. lol the 2 i was looking at both harbor freight were a 2hp and 30 micron $150 and a 1hp 1 micron.. $190 the wreck mostly said to go grizzly with the 1.5 hp 3 micron bag but $260 is more than i want to spend.. still need a planer the wife said go with the one with more power you can add bags and filters easier than power so i ordered the 2hp one and the $40 starter kit.. small dust is almost under control now with the window fan and the swamp cooler blowing out the garage door... i was sanding on the lathe tonight and all the fine dust that was floating around in the air was gone when i came back 20 min later.. dust collector is for the big stuff right now... and the cyclone and the blast gates and the duct work... you guys turning me on to the wreck is expensive! *g* .

tom been there done that. you have a cracked bed light lens and when it leaks it leaks between the double wall cab back panel around the rear window. it then runs forward under the carpet and soaks the rug and insulator in the front. by the time i finally figured out where the water was coming from i had to change out the entire carpet. steve i believe the drain pipe is plugged due to leaves etc. what i would like to know if there is a way to clear it out without having to take it to a dealer and pay them way too much for what i can do myself. does anyone know how to blow out the drain hose some water does drain but there is water still collecting under the carpet. any help is appreciated. i have a 96 dodge club cab 1500 model. please email at trkelleseven seven at verizon.net change the seven to a number! .

clyde wrote you cannot kill something that is not alive. the courts have ruled that life begins at birth .. not at conception. you have a cite for that i dont believe ive ever heard of a court making a ruling to supporting your comment. iirc the nations supreme court has refused to hear any case on such matter. i have not heard of a court ruling to that effect either. i have however heard religious and medical points of view that support that a soul isnt a soul and thus is not a life until the first breath of life. you can however make the argument that the fetus is alive because it is receiving oxygen breath of life through the mothers fluids. when the discussion goes to bodily fluids ... thats my signal to stop. ; craig c. .

i dont know if the op was comparing dodge to a civic ricer. the dodge engines through the 90s and until recently have been rather weak from my experience. my brothers chevy 3/4 ton with a 6.0l will flat out run and out pull my 2001 ram qc with a 5.9l. i had a 2000 4x4 ram cc with the 5.2l. that thing was anemic and stuggled to pull my 2000lb popup on steep grades. the cummins is a great engine but then its not made by dodge. i do like the new 5.7 hemi in my durango though. the 6.1l hemi sounds promising. with every truck i had in the 80s i had no problems pulling anything i put on it. i dont recall what engines i had back then but they were all strong. in the 90s did the dodge engines get weaker or did the dodge trucks get heavier or perhaps both dont get me wrong im a dodge fan and now own two. the chevy has its own problems. the puny 20 gallon tank on the chevy with a 6.0l is a joke. budd cochran wrote really i had a ricer say something similar to me once . . i suggested he put about 1750 pounds in the trunk of his civic and follow my 318 dodge d-150 into the mountains . . . the little twerp refused for some reason . . . .

i dont think that amendment would be a bad thing. in todays world where you were born has little meaning anymore. hogwash. ask any palestinian or israeli. ask the chechnyans. ask the baltic nations. ask them what max the reason why the constitution was written the way it was is to make sure that some one with a vested interest in protecting his/her own homeland was elected leader of that homeland. that is right but times were a little different back then. anyone who takes the time and effort to make this country there own should get the same rights as any other citizen especially since they actually had to both work for it and give something up to be a part of this great nation. changing that part of the constitution could enable leadership that would be even further biased towards or against other nations which could be construed as a security risk to the nation. further it would lead to more radical swings in the direction leadership takes in this country. bullshit. with the exception of the american indian we are all from other countries to one degree or another. the reality of this silly idea is that they want to do it for ahhhnold to get into the presidency. while he may be a good choice the amendment would open the door for bad choices to follow at some point. only if the american voter is a complete idiot. is that what you are saying max -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

on 15 nov 2004 132939 -0800 steveindfw@yahoo.com steve wrote i have a brake fluid leak in my dodge ram 1500/v6 engine that is progressively getting worse. ive continued to top off my brake fluid so that the brake system continues to work ok. right now i have to fill the master cylinder-resevoir up about 1/2 to 3/4s of the way every 3 to 4 days. the problem is getting worse because at first i was only filling the resevoir up every week or so. i have visually determined by fluid on the ground that the source of the leak is something up towards the right-front part of the vehicle about six inches to a foot from the right-front tire. is this something easy to fix what could it be i figured the steel brake fluid line could be broken or something... you dont say what year the truck is but my neighbor has a 2001 ford that had the left brake line rust out last week. large puddles in the driveway. does ford and dodge buy their brake lines from the same sub .

denny wrote the list is dammed near endless on what the drb can do compared to a generic code reader. take just about any electrical system on the vehical and the drb can force relays/solinoids/servos to cycle. it can monitor you cruise control buttons for functioning. it can tell you what shut off the cruise the last time it was on. ie brake switch power button neutral safety switch ect. it can sweep the needles on your dash gauges check the climate control the list is endless. but it has never given me any sex yet. g so i guess it is no more useful than a wife gary .
