where would i get a new non-pos switch to replace it i see youve found the problem. if you can find all the pieces theres not too many you can piece it back together. iirc theres the housing lever rocker plastic base plate and a small spring. you can try gluing the plastic base to the housing. when you get the switch assembly back together and youve got the rubber weather guard back on it you can do what the factory sometimes did zip tie the thing so the switch doesnt fall apart again. if you cant find all the pieces youll have to hit the junk yards or the friendly stealership. the last time i had to buy one it was about $40.00. its been several years now i wouldnt be surprised if theyre past $50 now. if you do have to get a new one dont forget the zip tie trick. theres just not enough metal in the housing to make a good crimp to retain the plastic base. thats why i call it a cheap pos. it looks like its worth 25 and they get big bucks for it. one more thing when these switches fall apart they sometimes burn up the solenoid even bigger bucks for those. fortunately i think theyre much better built and last longer. if youre good with that type of thing they can sometimes be repaired. ive got about four of them waiting on a round tuit. good luck. .
