on mon 14 mar 2005 102225 -0800 john kunkel kunkel.j@shorts.comcast.net wrote evidence of gearing damage etc. just poor shifting. am i wrong in thinking its something outside the trans. gearing and bands itself maybe such as a regulator valve or such it only takes four more digits to include the year. a simple throttle valve cable adjustment might correct your delayed upshifts. geez sorry i cant believe i left that out its an 89. thanks -- ht .. .

you could have water in the tank try the dry gas.also since you run your tank to the bottom. theres a chance you may have sucked up some crap from the bottom of the gas tank.so your filter could be plugging up. .
