How much to change the intake manifold gasket?

Q: my truck a 99 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9l engine is showing all the signs of a bad intake manifold gasket. what can i expect to pay to have this repaired thanks! .

the 360 that i was thinking about buying had that problem and burned the number 8 piston. dc replaced the engine. it might be a good idea to do a compression test at least on # 8. .. the check engine light would come on every 10000km like clockwork. the code was for misfire on #8 and another cant remember the number. went to several places over the years only to have the spark plugs replaced everytime. finally went back to taking it to a dealership...this was a new dodge dealership that opened..i think the problem is finally solved as the check engine hasnt come on since...it will be two yrs soon. --- outgoing mail is certified virus free. checked by avg anti-virus system http//www.grisoft.com. version 6.0.734 / virus database 488 - release date 8/4/2004 .
