Q: ignoramus4661 wrote there is an ongoing military program to provide the army with pickup trucks that also have a 20kw generator connected to the engine. such trucks could provide power at remote sites during deployment of troops. it sounds like a great idea. what i am thinking about right now is whether it is possible to replace an existing car alternator with one that could generate say 1 kilowatt of electricity. i have a pickup truck and with such an aleranator and an inverter i could have a great standby power capacity. i have a 1999 dodge ram truck and i know that there is enough space under the hood to mount a bigger alternator. are such extra powerful alternators available this is just one of many such units pulled at random. http//www.samsoffroad.com/samsoffroadsto/premierwelder.htm .

really and just where do you think all those little pieces will go the filter is downstream from the pump remember. ive never had a filter fail period. of course i always check to make sure the old gasket came off with the filter a purolator lost one 1 gasket one time. purolator is the other brand i buy. lube both the new gasket and the threads clean the oil filter mount gasket surface carefully and hand tighten firmly. budd hodad wrote if the filter just fell apart inside and quit filtering you wouldnt know it. if it plugged up the port you would. hd ive used fram filters for over 30 years and never had a failure. budd tom & debbie heintz wrote huggins says... just purchased 2003 dakota quad cab with the 4.7 engine. i had hoped to at least be able to do the first oil change myself. cant seem to spot the oil filter. please help! if you look down between the battery and the radiator and the power steering pump you will see a black plastic thing that looks like a chute protruding toward the radiator. follow the chute with your eyes back toward the engine and at the widest part of that black chute you will find a black oil filter. be sure to get a base fitted oil filter attachment from you local wally super store to fit your 3/8 ratchet. you will really need this in order to get the filter loose as it is impossibly tight as provided from the factory! also the damn 14mm drain plug was put on by a gorilla at the factory too not to mention the oil filler cap. i changed mine the first time at 1500 miles and used a fram doublegard filter the number is dg-16 and now i change it at 3000 mile intervals using the fram orange filters ph-16. enjoy! - read the following article and see if you still want to use fram filters http//www.frankhunt.com/frank/corvette/articles/oilfilterstudy/oilfilters.h tml not ragging on ya i used to use fram myself. i quit after reading this article. it ended up being the final factor in that decision. tom heintz mopar maniac .

if its only out of warranty a short time i would call daimler/chryslers 800 number and see if they will help you. good luck. frank my dodge dealer wants to charge me $1500 dollars to replace one of two or three junction boxes under my caravans dash board to correct a problem that is causing a fuse to blow that controls the caravans turn signals and blower to the cars a/c to not work. if i put a new 15 amp fuse in the car and start it up the fuse keeps blowing. even putting a higher amp fuse causes the fuse to blow also. as a result i have been driving around all summer without a/c and any turn signals just hand signals. the caravan is now out of warrantee. has anyone ever herd of this problem. $1500 sounds kind of steep to replace a junction box. do you think i should take it somewhere else and get a second opinion like maybe and car electrical specialist is the dodge dealer trying to rip me off --carl .

racism is a doctrine of collectivism in which an individual is not judged by his own character and actions but is rather judged by physical factors a collection of ancestors complexion et cetera beyond his control. thanks for that definition. now explain why it should be considered legal so that the north would not have violated the states rights of the south. so tell me while you play around in the barnyard of collectivism what keeps you from stepping in the cowshit of racism given your support of states rights and accusations that those rights were done away with in the 1860s perhaps youd be better suited to answering that. here is a hint a major componant of racism was eliminated by the same action you claim destroyed states rights. bullshit. in fact the constitution had several amendments added in the late 1800s. plus plenty of more amendments that have not been followed. the bill of rights is being ignored on a daily basis. while true it does not mean that states rights and the constitution were abandoned in the 1860s. as much as i dislike the ss number it does provide another form of positive id so no one confuses me with the next guy that has the same name. free people need not be branded like cattle. unless the criminals among them choose to impersonate them in which case its handy to have a personal id in a national system that no one else could possibly use. another potential problem caused by the government is if someone gets your social security number they can use it for their whims. thats the problem with using a number as someones identity. funny its also the problem with not using a number to id yourself. as i said its not an idea i particularly like but it serves a purpose. you are an individual; therefore you will be totally different than another guy with your name. except on paper. then i need an id number a photo a thumb print etc. obviously when ssns were first issued 1930s a number was easiest. that is how one should be distinguished not by a cattle tag. true too bad its not good enough. yes it does. this country was founded on the principle that the citizen was the citizen of his own state. the social security number circumvented that. yeah too bad for all those people that couldnt get their states to help them out in the great depression. funny how that number not only got people to jobs in other states but also put food on the table when the states were unable to finance a recovery program. debating is arguing the pros and cons on an issue. you cannot debate the truth. false. lawyers do it all day long. further debating the truth with you would be easier if you had a clue what the truth was. you are simply arguing for things to return to the 1830s when no one went farther than 40 miles from home and no one else had the same name as you. why not simplify it for yourself and dump the computer and all electrical stuff and become amish max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

fred your post might have some relevance if drivers licenses were issued by the federal government but they are not. the constitution you speak of is a federal document and clearly states that all powers not specifically enumerated in the constitution are reserved for the several states. states being sovereign entities at least they used to be! have every right to require the licensing of its drivers. sorry your argument is without merit. mike states do not have rights; only individuals have rights. what states have are powers. the states have not been sovereign entities since the 1860s. also the constitution hasnt been followed since at least that long. another point is that many of the states require a social security number which is a federal control number before one can get a license. if they really were sovereign like circa early nineteenth century they would not ask for one. nowadays the states are simply fifty branch offices of the federal government. .

hardly. lincoln was far less a tyrant than many others aspiring to the presidency in that time. lincoln also tried many things to avoid the war between the states. it is truly a case of where you were born or live that determines your feelings on lincoln. the fact is events in congress between individuals from north and south pushed the civil war into being. sorry but i know a black gentleman that was born in new york that lives in nevada that has the exact same thoughts as i do. your attempt to tell me that ones convictions character and actions are determined by something out of his control place of birth denies individual minds and individual achievements. it is simply bigotry. further it is the southerners who believe that it was a war over states rights which may be true but the issue at hand transcended states rights. if the southerners had not fought for the right to own human beings perhaps the civil war would never have happened. however for reasons other than states rights such as economics and capitalism the south fought the war. only ten percent of the southrons owned slaves so the slave owners were a minority. about seventy to eighty percent of the confederate soldiers did not own a slave as slaves were expensive and used on the largest plantations. i doubt those confedrates would have fought a long bloody war against a superior force just so a few rich slaveowners could keep their slaves. they were fighting for their homes. general lee an opponent to slavery freed all his slaves long before the war yet general grants wife kept her slaves until the thirteenth amendment was passed after the war. ...if i could preserve the union without freeing a single slave i would do so... abraham lincoln all this war was about was people wanting to rule themselves and the government that they broke away from not allowing them to do so. sounds a lot like the american revolution. this is a bullshit reason to complain about anything. so fucking what its in caps big deal. the reason for caps is so that no letters are confused such as l and i which are small l and capital i respectively. okay if it doesnt bother you then start writing your name out in all capital letters. if you want to complain about drivers licensing complain about the real issues such as the cost and the lack of competent testing. ill stick with complaining about victimless crimes. i think we all agree that certain individuals are not capable of driving and thus should not have a license. and btw you have a choice as to getting one or not. i know of several individuals that drive without a license and never get caught and probably never will since they dont do stupid things. so explain to me how they not having a license bothers you. .

i am not condoning slavery it is an abomination and had the south been allowed to secede i think slavery would have died a natural death within perhaps another 50 years. many southerners also hated slavery but recognized its economic necessity for the times. you know why slavery would have died out because of capitalism! capitalism allows for much more gain as those that are a part of it are in it to exchange values for mutual benefit to mutual consent. it allowed individuals to tap into their individual talents. slavery was the opposite. had the slaves not worked they would have risked losing their ultimate value and the source of the capacity to value which is their own lives. they had nothing to gain neither if they did their work any more efficiently. in any event i am not a die hard wishing for the south to rise again. both sides had their good points and bad ones! i just wish that we could return to a little more balance and the let the states control their destiny and dollars without uncle sugar being involved in damned near everything. i challenge anyone to show me the constitutional mandate for half the crappy legislation that comes out of dc. mike i agree. i just would like to see a limited constitutional republic somewhere with laissez-faire capitalism. .

3 obviously times have changed since the ssn was first used and better methods exist. however at the time the ssn was the best system going. when the social security number came out it had not for indentification printed on the card. if a person lives for his own sake not sacrificing others for himself nor sacrificing himself to others he does not need to be proactively tagged. knowing a person by his number as the government now does is pretty far from freedom. .

thanks for that definition. now explain why it should be considered legal so that the north would not have violated the states rights of the south. states do not have rights. only individuals do. many of the individuals of the south were fighting on their land protecting their private property. given your support of states rights and accusations that those rights were done away with in the 1860s perhaps youd be better suited to answering that. i believe i have already said that states do not have rights in an earlier post. states have powers given to them by the people. here is a hint a major componant of racism was eliminated by the same action you claim destroyed states rights. you practice collectivism by telling me that only people from the south have my views. racism only exists with collectivism. if individuals are seen as individuals and not judged by the collection of race they are placed in then racism would cease to exist. unless the criminals among them choose to impersonate them in which case its handy to have a personal id in a national system that no one else could possibly use. if you live your life by your own sake without sacrificing others for yourself then the government should not even have an affair with you much less impose you with a number. funny how such numbers are given to cattle and sheep by their owners. just shows you what those in government feel today about its constituents. except on paper. then i need an id number a photo a thumb print etc. obviously when ssns were first issued 1930s a number was easiest. like i said when social security numbers were first issued in the thirties the statement not for identification was printed on the card. yeah too bad for all those people that couldnt get their states to help them out in the great depression. funny how that number not only got people to jobs in other states but also put food on the table when the states were unable to finance a recovery program. you are ignoring what caused the problem which was the federal reserve. the federal reserve was the result of a blatant disregard for the constitution. the federal reserve act of 1913 gave the power of congress to coin money to the federal reserve which is a private corporation that prints the money. false. lawyers do it all day long. you take stock in what lawyers do further debating the truth with you would be easier if you had a clue what the truth was. you are simply arguing for things to return to the 1830s when no one went farther than 40 miles from home no i am arguing for laissez-faire capitalism. all the advances of america were from capitalism not from the government. had laissez-faire capitalism been in use from the time of the america revolution to today the 1830s would probably be the stone age compared with now since we probably would have flying cars medical treatment you only see in star trek civilian space travel et cetera. and no one else had the same name as you. why not simplify it for yourself and dump the computer and all electrical stuff and become amish computers have to be the greatest thing for freedom besides guns. .

thanks for that definition. now explain why it should be considered legal so that the north would not have violated the states rights of the south. states do not have rights. only individuals do. wrong. the states have access to all the rights and powers not delegated to or by the united states. have you read the tenth amendment many of the individuals of the south were fighting on their land protecting their private property. pure bullshit. i believe i have already said that states do not have rights in an earlier post. states have powers given to them by the people. wrong. look it up. you practice collectivism by telling me that only people from the south have my views. racism only exists with collectivism. you equate collectivism with racism which is false. if it were true those of us who call ourselves americans would be racist as we are assigning ourselves a collective description. iow your collectivism bullshit is.... bullshit. if individuals are seen as individuals and not judged by the collection of race they are placed in then racism would cease to exist. and socialism runs rampant. see alcu and affirmative action and welfare and a number of other lets help the individual programs. if you live your life by your own sake without sacrificing others for yourself then the government should not even have an affair with you much less impose you with a number. funny how such numbers are given to cattle and sheep by their owners. just shows you what those in government feel today about its constituents. yuo still havent addressed the issue of how to tell individuals apart on paper where both may appear the same but be very different in reality. like i said when social security numbers were first issued in the thirties the statement not for identification was printed on the card. it still isnt for id as a drivers license is. it is however for determining who each of us is when described on paper. got a better system you are ignoring what caused the problem which was the federal reserve. wrong!!!! you are ignoring history! the federal reserve was the result of a blatant disregard for the constitution. bullshit!!! the federal reserve act of 1913 gave the power of congress to coin money to the federal reserve which is a private corporation that prints the money. try reading something other than the paranoid conspiracy theory papers when looking at a history of the fed. false. lawyers do it all day long. you take stock in what lawyers do unfortunately we all have to take stock whatever the fuck that means in what they do as it affects our legal system and the laws we are supposed to abide by. no i am arguing for laissez-faire capitalism. good luck. as soon as you get that figure out what you will do about all the industies that rely on federal regulation to keep business costs down among other things. all the advances of america were from capitalism not from the government. bullshit. read more history and less conspiracy. had laissez-faire capitalism been in use from the time of the america revolution to today there would be no jobs in the unitred states poverty would be rampant robber barons by the dozen and worse. the fact is since the government intervened imports can be taxed to allow domestic competition individuals are guaranteed a minimum wage and no one producer of a product can abuse the buying public. ill agree that the government oversteps its bounds but the regulations that make laissez-faire capitalism impossible also help our fellow citizens. revolution to today the 1830s would probably be the stone age compared with now since we probably would have flying cars medical treatment you only see in star trek civilian space travel et cetera. conspiracy and dreams truly a wonderful combination. got those rose colored glasses handy or are you living in a state of utopia computers have to be the greatest thing for freedom besides guns. lol yeah now everyone can track you and where you link to the net not just the government. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

da*n tom! for glossing over thats a pretty good explanation! whens the next class not my real name or email address. the manual i got with the van does not go into such detail. does the 360 these days have distributorless ignition that can sense detonation and advance the timing nope - still got a distributor. in your van it should be about between the drivers and passengers seats is it fuel injected or carburetor multi-port fuel injection timing chain or belt chain interference engine dont think so - but not positive. single serpentine accessory belt yes engine control computer damn near a requirement for fuel injection... yes i know i know... there were mechanical fuel injection systems... but not anymore robert ex aircraft mech trying to catch up to these fancy puter controlled cars it is quite a shift in thinking but once you get into it its pretty simple to understand. heres a quick very quick overview of the computer functions during normal operation the engines computer reads the position of the crankshaft and camshaft via sensors the crank sensor is mounted on the front of the engine and reads off a tone ring on the crank. the cam sensor is actually inside the distributor which is driven by a gear on the camshaft. this is how the engine knows the position of the piston in a cylinder and what part of the cycle its in intake/compression or power/exhaust. using this data along with the speed of the engine it knows when to command a fuel injector to squirt fuel. to figure out how much fuel to squirt in it looks at several other sensors air intake temp. to determine how hot the air is manifold pressure sensor to determine how much air is going into the cylinders engine coolant sensor to know how hot the engine is throttle position sensor to know how much oomph the driver is asking for. it crunches all these numbers together and comes up with a pointer to an internal table some computer stuff here that says for this value of stuff you just calculated squirt this much fuel. so at the right time the computer tells the injector to open up for some period of time because the computers been told how much fuel the injector delivers in a certain amount of time. as the piston come up on its compression stroke the computer uses some other sensor inputs again intake temp. engine temp. rpm and throttle position to figure out when to fire off the spark plug. yes even though theres a distributor the exact timing of the spark is controlled by the computer so dont go messing with the position of the distributor trying to time the engine . this is the electronic equivalent of the old centrifugal and vacuum advance systems on non-electronic distributors. so that takes care of one combustion cycle. now as the exhaust gases pass out of the cylinder through the exhaust they waft over one or two or even up to four sensors called oxygen sensors. these guys sniff the outgoing exhaust and send a signal relating to how much oxygen is present in the exhaust. this tells the computer if the engines running too rich or too lean. the computer takes this information and adjusts its fuel amount for the next cycle. this happens several times up to almost 50 times per second with the computer constantly adjusting for both the drivers inputs as well as the sensors outputs. now like i said thats very high level and ive glossed over lots of details but it should help you to get a basic understanding of whats going on in that black box with all the wires coming out of it. .

when the social security number came out it had not for indentification printed on the card. i already addressed this fallicy. if a person lives for his own sake not sacrificing others for himself nor sacrificing himself to others he does not need to be proactively tagged. unless of course he expects to do all this on credit and financing. knowing a person by his number as the government now does is pretty far from freedom. the government does far less with that number than do the credit agencies and a host of other entities that have no government affiliation. that number with all its drawbacks and im not saying it has no drawbacks also gives you the freedom to get loans buy houses on credit chage cards health plans and insurance. why because it allows those companies to find and prove that you are who you say you are and that your record is as you claim it is. the ssn is one of those things that can limit your freedom if you abuse your freedom defaults on loans etc. and give you more freedom if you use it wisely. if you think otherwise you are out of touch with the modern world. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

wrong its in a slave state. damn if youre gonna bitch about events that led to states rights conflict at least know those events. it bordered the north and the south. check a map. i have checked a map and missouri was a slave state. it did not border on the south it was the south as far as the slave issue was concerned. given its geographical position it was hardly a border state since it was clearly north of the parallel that legally divided the north and the south per the missouri compromise. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

as it turned out lincoln viewed their actions in secceeding as treason and treated it as such. anything less would have been improper for the chief executive and would have led to a decline of proper leadership in washington. okay so instead get 600000 killed that were doing the exact same thing the founding fathers did nearly a century prior. since you obviously arent well versed in what happened let me enlighten you a bit. 1 when the seccession movement started buchanan was president. buchanan was sympathetic to the south. proof of such can be had in noting that all southern states had a majority vote for him. 2 when south carolina secceeded buchanan did what any sane acting president would do he sent reinforcements to fort sumpter. when he did so he sent them on an unarmed ship which was prompty fired upon by the south as it approached the fort. buchanan did nothing except recall the ship. this is proof that buchanan and the north were not aggressively pursuing an armed conflict. 3 buchanan did nothing since he had literally days left in office and figured he would not be the president that started a war. 4 any president that has a federal military installation fired upon by any hostile group will return same after due course of verbal exchange. lincoln was no exception. in his inaugural address he warned the south of his views of their actions his planned reply and the desire to work it out without armed conflict. 5 to do any less would have led to the destruction of what we enjoy today as the united states. sadly death is the price of any armed conflict. 6 for the south to feel that they could secceed and take up arms against the north was sheer folly. therefore blaming lincoln alone for the deaths of 600000 as you imply is just stupid. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

then you are the confused one. the document covering speech religion etc. is not called the bill of liberties but the bill of rights. budd thewanderer wrote i guess people here need to be told the difference of what a right is and a liberty a right is something that the government must provide for. if you look in the us constitution the only right you will find is to an attorney. a liberty is being able to do something without government intervention.. e.g. free speech religion. so tell me mr idiot who gave you the right to drive did you find it in your box of captain crunch this morning im not the one that wrote the original message but id love the chance to disprove a socialist. afaik there is not a single state in the us that gives you the right to drive. the federal government does not give you the right to drive. i dont give you the right to drive. the government does not grant you rights period. but they seem to do a good job of taking them away. you have the right to do anything peaceful as long as you do not initiate force against others. in fact none of the previously mentioned entities including myself a taxpaying voter can give you the right to drive ... because it is not a right it is a privilege. please quit acting like you voluntarily pay taxes. you know damn well that if you didnt the government would come and shake you down point-blank. licensing is done to protect innocent bystanders to control access to those with the in theory proper training and with the responsibility to obey a set of regulations intended to protect the driver as well as the public. what a joke. ive seen plenty of people with licenses that are terrible drivers. thats just the excuse the government gives you in order for them to fill up their coffers and to control people. basically when you are on the road you have already assumed the risk that you may be killed or injured. if you cant take the risk then dont get on the road. would you want just any old drug pusher wino or kindergarten dropout dispensing drugs to you or a loved one so you are admitting that you and your loved ones cannot be held responsible for your own actions if all drugs were legal there would not be a black market profit to be made off of them thus the pusher you speak of would not even exist. would you want an untrained high school drop put doing your heart bypass surgery what makes you think a company would hire a surgeon that cannot perform if that company made it a habit to hire people that cannot do their jobs that company would not last very long at all since no one is forced to do business with them. also diplomas are a joke. employers never ask you to see one and the only employer that i can think of that does which is the military will accept a diploma that you printed off that your parents signed. they should since the minutemen that fought the tyrannical british sure the hell didnt have diplomas. do you want anyone of any age or skill level or lack of same operating vehicles without any regulations rules or laws and not have to face charges of vehicular homicide when they run over your miserable chaotic butt ive seem minors that are more mature than many adults so your argument is blown out of water. there is not a specific age which is how many times the earth has orbited the sun during the duration of ones life that one automatically becomes mature. vehicular homicide is a good law because it retaliates against the initiation of force. requiring a license firsthand does not. oops!!! i guess you do or you wouldnt have posted such anti-social nonsense. im not the one that originally posted the message; however i will say that the altruist/collectivist methods you seem to be embracing have destroyed any good will among men. btw yes i have received tickets i even lost my driving license for a period of two years. thats just part of being a responsible adult or a responsible citizen. no thats called being conditioned well for slavery. the autobahn essentially has no speed limits if you just want to drive fast. or theres that big salty area north of me called bonneville. however both have rules you have to abide by and licenses required to drive on them. gee too bad. had the founding fathers had the gee too bad attitude this country would have never came to be. the last and ultimate point that i will make is that you seem to have something against laissez-faire capitalism which is the separation from state and the economy. had laissez-faire capitalism been allowed to exist the problems you speak of would have never existed in the first place. .

yes! im glad to see someone else of my reasoning as well. when you think about it the presidents before lincoln had remembered the american revolution well; they did not want to allow a tyrant to rule it once again. he was the tyrant they feared. hardly. lincoln was far less a tyrant than many others aspiring to the presidency in that time. lincoln also tried many things to avoid the war between the states. it is truly a case of where you were born or live that determines your feelings on lincoln. the fact is events in congress between individuals from north and south pushed the civil war into being. further it is the southerners who believe that it was a war over states rights which may be true but the issue at hand transcended states rights. if the southerners had not fought for the right to own human beings perhaps the civil war would never have happened. however for reasons other than states rights such as economics and capitalism the south fought the war. another thing is that drivers licenses issue your name in capital letters. that aint how you write your own name. this is a bullshit reason to complain about anything. so fucking what its in caps big deal. the reason for caps is so that no letters are confused such as l and i which are small l and capital i respectively. if you want to complain about drivers licensing complain about the real issues such as the cost and the lack of competent testing. i think we all agree that certain individuals are not capable of driving and thus should not have a license. and btw you have a choice as to getting one or not. i know of several individuals that drive without a license and never get caught and probably never will since they dont do stupid things. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

not exactly...... im sorry that the concept of freedom makes you fringe as it comes with much more responsibility. quit acting like he volunteered. doublespeak. lol. as much as i think the system is a joke it was initially installed to put some order on the chaos that would be public highways. having the government which has a monopoly on force handle something like highways started the chaos in the first place. the risk is lowered considerably with rules of the road right of way and driver qualification. that is correct but the thing is that the other people had a choice to be on the highway so they accepted the risk of the activity. it is a voluntary risk. budds statement has nothing to do with personal responsibility. it has everything to do with the qualifications of the individual performing the task. given that the task affects the public it is a task that is licensed. the public is a collective statement. society is not a living breathing entity; only the individual is. in a purely laissez-faire capitalist system no one is forcing the individual from engaging in business with whomever is offering the goods or services. an individuals rational self-intersts can only be best hold by the individual himself not by the government. he isnt talking about a pusher. you missed his point so badly you need to go back and read all over again. please budd has ended up trying to put words in my mouth. at some point someone hires the individual that has no experience based on qualifications alone. i have seen one company that has had a problem with it. they hired several guys right out of college that had the qualifications but lacked the experience so they ended up screwing up a few things. however i speak of that on an individual basis. when it comes to the military surgeons have a fast lane to experience. they will treat more injuries in a day than most civilian surgeons treat in a year. im guessing you dont have too many..... you guessed wrong. i have yet to see many or any employers ask to see a diploma on a piece of paper from an accredited school. fact is that many people end up losing track of their diplomas after years of living and moving. bullshit. max there is a lot to be desired when one does not use detail. .

you must live in the south. would you like me to get a list of individuals that are not living in the south nor from the south that believe the same thing as i do what you are telling me is that in order to think a certain way one must live at a certain place. that is collectivism. racism is a doctrine of collectivism in which an individual is not judged by his own character and actions but is rather judged by physical factors a collection of ancestors complexion et cetera beyond his control. so tell me while you play around in the barnyard of collectivism what keeps you from stepping in the cowshit of racism bullshit. in fact the constitution had several amendments added in the late 1800s. plus plenty of more amendments that have not been followed. the bill of rights is being ignored on a daily basis. as much as i dislike the ss number it does provide another form of positive id so no one confuses me with the next guy that has the same name. free people need not be branded like cattle. another potential problem caused by the government is if someone gets your social security number they can use it for their whims. thats the problem with using a number as someones identity. you are an individual; therefore you will be totally different than another guy with your name. that is how one should be distinguished not by a cattle tag. the ss number has nothing to do with states rights or soveriegnty. i already debunked the oxymoron of states rights in a previous post. yes it does. this country was founded on the principle that the citizen was the citizen of his own state. the social security number circumvented that. lol debatable but certainly not the way you think. debating is arguing the pros and cons on an issue. you cannot debate the truth. .

if that were true then they would not have put free speech et cetera under the bill of rights. i guess people here need to be told the difference of what a right is and a liberty a right is something that the government must provide for. if you look in the us constitution the only right you will find is to an attorney. a liberty is being able to do something without government intervention.. e.g. free speech religion. .

if the filter just fell apart inside and quit filtering you wouldnt know it. if it plugged up the port you would. hd ive used fram filters for over 30 years and never had a failure. budd tom & debbie heintz wrote huggins says... just purchased 2003 dakota quad cab with the 4.7 engine. i had hoped to at least be able to do the first oil change myself. cant seem to spot the oil filter. please help! if you look down between the battery and the radiator and the power steering pump you will see a black plastic thing that looks like a chute protruding toward the radiator. follow the chute with your eyes back toward the engine and at the widest part of that black chute you will find a black oil filter. be sure to get a base fitted oil filter attachment from you local wally super store to fit your 3/8 ratchet. you will really need this in order to get the filter loose as it is impossibly tight as provided from the factory! also the damn 14mm drain plug was put on by a gorilla at the factory too not to mention the oil filler cap. i changed mine the first time at 1500 miles and used a fram doublegard filter the number is dg-16 and now i change it at 3000 mile intervals using the fram orange filters ph-16. enjoy! - read the following article and see if you still want to use fram filters http//www.frankhunt.com/frank/corvette/articles/oilfilterstudy/oilfilters.h tml not ragging on ya i used to use fram myself. i quit after reading this article. it ended up being the final factor in that decision. tom heintz mopar maniac .

kit wrote the founding fathers fought a long bloody war against the most powerful most tyrannical government at the time and actually won. it is illogical to think that they would have done so and then purposely planted the seeds of tyranny. the united states constitution and the bill of rights was written to restrain the federal government not the people. i think limit in place of restrain would be more appropriate. unfortunately neither is the case at present. jerry .

but would you want ball joints made in a carpet factory budd here is the reply i was going to post earlier but then deleted it in favor of sanity i recently changed my ball joints and almost bought factory made ones. i was reading the local paper just before leaving for the auto parts store and an advertisement caught my eye. it was for hand made truck suspension parts. yes you read that right hand made! i just couldnt believe it. i called the toll free number immediately to get a stock check and pricing info and sure enough they had just what i needed in stock cheaper than any auto parts store in my area! it turns out that a convent of mostly handicapped nuns are hand knitting truck suspension parts right there in the local convent. they are doing it as a fund raiser so they can afford a supercharger for the church bus. i am a purveyor of hand made crafts and get along with nuns in general so i decided to buy my parts from them. i dont usually buy hand made suspension parts from private sellers but if you cant trust nuns who can you trust btw the race bus is progressing well. the 4-link suspension is in place and the 2-speed air-shift rear rebuild is almost complete. the only reason they dont knit their own superchargers is because of the increased cost of tooling i asked. it was explained to me by sister mary elisabeth that the carbon-fiber and laser cut stainless steel knitting needles required for close tolerance precision engine parts cost more than what they got from the churchs yard sale after cleaning out the storage room. all they could afford was some forged heavy-duty truck suspension knitting needles. - see a picture of the church bus here http//www.racebus.com/busses/images/rb037.jpg the bicycles on top are what the nuns get around the pits on! .

nope i am not an anarchist as thomas jefferson was not and i share the exact same views as he. so you believe in slavery an anarchy is a neo-darwinism lack of government where barnyard socialists run free and does not protect the rights of individuals. bullshit. simply implying that any sort of political runs free by its inherent nature means it isnt anarchy. also an anarchy does not last as it is in human nature for people to come together to bring order. hence licensing. have you ever heard of voter fraud as seen by mostly democrats in the 2000 presidental election more bullshit. do you honestly think that socialists in power are going to give up their power because they are voted off they have no choice. did king george the iii give up his power because most of his subjects rejected him king george the third wasnt the governing body of great britain parliament was. thus he would have had to abdicate the throne and it would have changed little in how gb and the colonies interacted. your point is moot at best and totally off topic at worst. hell the south voted to break away from the rest of the states but lincoln wouldnt hear of it without the deaths of 600000 americans more bullshit. the truth is lincoln wished to avoid said conflict and met with southern leaders many times in an effort to avoid the civil war. besides seeing that this country is ran by the federal reserve is ran more bullshit. the economy is affected by the federal reserve nothing more. which is a private bank that owns the money false. for example the government will go to the federal reserve for money and the federal reserve is willing to give them the paper money as long as the government pays it back with interest. totally untrue. you are lying out your ass or just dont know any better. that is where the national debt comes from. wrong again. again it doesnt matter whom is in office as the government is in debt to the federal reserve so the federal reserve is calling the shots. poppycock. what makes you think that i dont vote actually given all the bullshit you believe i hope you dont vote..... max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

it depends on what kind of parts you are looking for. normal mechanical parts should still be available through auto parts stores. if you need body parts check with salvage yards or possibly auto body shops for aftermarket parts. if you are looking for perfomance stuff you are probably out of luck not alot of performance parts were made for the mighty max / d50. regards dave on sat 16 aug 2003 011647 -0700 see.my.sig.4.addr@nowhere.com.invalid wrote where can you still get parts for an 83 d50 .

you must live in the south. ahem!!! and whats wrong with living in the south.....hmmmmmmm not a damn thing i was born in norfolk va and perfer my residence in maryland. but the fact remains the constitution has been in effect and continues to be a force in modern lawmaking. only a southerner who is still fighting the war of secession thinks lincoln was a tyrant and the constitution is never used. max spam filters why purify an undesired substance .

as it turned out lincoln viewed their actions in secceeding as treason and treated it as such. anything less would have been improper for the chief executive and would have led to a decline of proper leadership in washington. okay so instead get 600000 killed that were doing the exact same thing the founding fathers did nearly a century prior. .
