i was driving up the conejo grade ventura to los angelesand it just died without warning. i checked several things but i dont have a wiring diagram. power to the starter is fine but gauges are dead as are the headlights. the starter works when jumping terminals. no power to the distributor. i suspect it is the ignition switch or else the fusable link if there is one for this model but i dont know where that is. is there a fuse box other than the one next to the glove box this is a van conversion but i cant see that this has anything to do with the rear power stuff.... help. p.s. if need be i will buy a manual but it would be nice if someone might just have one already and would scan in a few basic diagrams related to the ignition circuit. thanks in advance. happy 4th. .

suddenly without warning denny exclaimed 03-jul-05 737 pm i just went for a little drive all the hogs must be off visiting relatives. not a one of them was out playing. denny assuming youre speaking of the two wheeled kind thats cause theyre all terrorizing us over here. ive come to the conclusion that most british bikers have death wishes. apologies to any who are lurking here. purely personal stereotype its legal here for bikes to pass down the center centre line even with oncoming traffic. on roads where one lane of traffic is barely wide enough to accomodate my dakota which makes them way to narrow for articulated lorries - 18-wheelers. after nearly three years driving a dakota out here in the english boondocks driving pretty much anywhere in the us - including such horrors as the dc beltway - is easy peasy. jmc .

suddenly without warning carolina watercraft works exclaimed 03-jul-05 535 pm ive often wondered how england celebrates july 4th. lol its weird cause youd think the only celeb would be at the american bases but i saw an ad for a 4th celebration at a nightclub downtown. must be enough of us here to make it worthwhile. doesnt seem like something your average british would celebrate. then again what do i know they celebrate some suprising things here like guy fawkes night where the celebrate the failure of said guy to blow up parliment. with bonfires including effigies of the guy and fireworks. since theres very little control on fireworks its like a warzone here that night terrifying pets for miles around. and the wonderful just for the heck of it bank holidays. jmc .

my son has a 2004 dodge with the 5.7 hemi engine. last week as he was driving the truck just quit. he had the truck towed to the dodge dealer and when they went to pulled the truck in the next day it fired right up. they could not find nothing wrong with the truck so he picked it up and it ran fine up til today when it quit in the middle of a hay field with a load of hay on it! when this happens the ignition goes totally dead and it wont do anything. the truck was bought used with 12000 miles on it. the battery and everything else is good. anybody else ran accros this problem .

denny wrote i have a new power wagon and was wondering if anyone out there knew what the tire pressure is supposed to be. normally tires just say the max pressure but this one does not come right out and say it. there are 2 lines that say something like max cold 65 psi but what does that mean i checked mine the day it arrived at the dealer on the way home and they were all 40 psi and the tires seem very firm. i am towing a 27 ft travel trailer all the way from alberta to southern california and back and i want to be correct on my tire pressures. i dont feel confident asking the dealer. they will just tell me what they think and not what they know. any other pw owners or tire experts out that know there is a sticker in the drivers door jam that tells the recommended psi.. denny the recommand pressures are for when vehical is operated at maximum load capacity. if this is a 3/4 ton and you are not full loaded you can get by just fine with 45 to 50 psi and you never need more than 50psi up front unless you hang a snow plow on it but you will need to raise rear pressure if you are loaded to the the max. lower pressure will help ride a bit. -- posted using the http//www.autoforumz.com interface at authors request articles individually checked for conformance to usenet standards topic url http//www.autoforumz.com/dodge-tire-pressure-05-power-wagon-ftopict127225.html visit topic url to contact author reg. reqd. report abuse http//www.autoforumz.com/eform.phpp=620509 .

@webtv.net says... i have a 2003 1500 quad cab with the 5.7 lite hemi. it has been the worst truck i have ever had on fuel. i get if im lucky about 12 miles per gallon i wont buy another dodge after this one. the hemi is a joke i mean i can see using alot of gas if it hadpower but i dont see any diffrence between the hemi or the standard v8 html body bgcolor=whitetext=black p align=center embed img src=http//www.angelfire.com/rock/cooper/myerofpuppets.gif /body /html the milage is about what i get in my 2003. sometimes i can get 13+ around town if i drive it very and annoyingly conservatively. i used to get 14 in my 2000 sierra ext cab z71 but the ram is much more fun to drive. if you cant tell the difference between the 5.7 and the standard 4.7 v8s your 5.7 is a dog. i have driven a friends 04 4.7 and its way down on power compared to my truck. he regrets getting the 4.7 as the whole 1 mpg more he gets for choosing it doesnt make up for its lack of power. what size wheels does your truck have and what gears does it have 20 wheels or 3.55 gears with the 17 wheels = mistake imo. huge difference on launch. 3.92s and 17 is the way to go. i drove all three combos before i bought. i hated the stock 20 wheels anyway. a lot. the only bitches i have about my truck is the mileage and the tire noise which is getting worse all the time. im guessing next summer will be time for new tires even though the originals will still have plenty of tread left. bdk .
