Q: 2. electric door locks dont seem to want to work with the buttons anymore the buttons on the doors do you have a keyless entry do they work with that could just be dirty contact on the door switches. remove the switch panel it should just unscrew remove the connector and short the wires together check a wiring diagram so you know youre connecting the right ones together. if it works there youve identified the door switches as bad. you can try some contact cleaner on them followed with a dab of dielectric grease or you might want to look for a replacement switch panel. 3. very loud squeaky suspension. i mean this thing aches and moans over every bump in the road. old bushings... the sway bar bushings are known to creak like crazy both the main bushings on the bar and the end link bushings but mostly the main bushings. on a friends 00 durango the sway bar had shifted slightly and the end was making contact the the recessed area of the lower a-arm. we removed the bar greased the snot out of it and re-installed it. the rear leafs have probably worn through their anti-squeak pads and/or the bushings in the mounts have dried out. shoot some lube on the leafs and the mounts. .

is this something easy to fix what could it be i figured the steel brake fluid line could be broken or something... get some safety goggles get under the truck and have someone step hard on the brakes. you should be able to spot the leak. first place to check based on your description of the location is the fitting on the frame rail where the hard line terminates and the flex line begins. if this is the case try cranking down on the connection use two wrenches preferably line wrenches - support the bottom nut while turning the top nut. examine the fle line for cracking or other deterioration. if you even suspect that theyre bad then based on the age of the vehicle replace them both. check the rear flex line as well - chances are if the fronts have rotted the rear isnt far behind. goodbye kerry. and more than anything else... if you dont know how to bleed brakes or otherwise work on a brake system get it to a shop that does... now. youre risking your life and the lives of others driving that thing. a small leak can turn into a massive hole in an instant. oh sure the fronts and rears are separate systems... but heres the thing.... you go to jam on your brakes to avoid the idiot crossing the street in front of you. at that point the leak point fails severely and you have no front brakes. you panic and jam on the pedal even harder. your rear brakes if theyre even working meaning youve been adjusting them every 3-5k miles then lock up the truck spins around and you kill the jaywalker. congratulations... theyre dead and your life is forever changed. sometimes they are risking their life and the lives of others driving that thing. why should it matter to you now get the damn brakes fixed. you dont get out much huh -- lady chatterly that is a bot or someone playing as a bot. i dumped it in my kf the first day. is it following the group or me -- ratz .

then why is anyone worried about it. i dont think anyone is worrying about it passing. that doesnt mean the idiots advertising about it should be ignored though. the very purpose of their advertising is to test the waters and see what support they may have. so instead of ignoring them we tell them their idea is not a good choice. but you have yet to give a valid reason why it is not a good choice. the only way it could really be a bad choice is if the american voters are a bunch of idiots. is that what you are saying miles now then is everything that differs from your warped views because of fear no just a few in here lately but by all means prove me wrong and give me another one for your stance here. or is it possible because they are warped lol i guess that depends completely on the viewpoint of the other person now doesnt it. why do we have any rules in place at all as to whom may run for president because some rules are necessary to prevent confusion and maintain order. why do they have to be a citizen why would you want someone who is not part of the country running it this has not changed with the passage of time. why do they have to be 35 years old because you would want your leader to be well educated and experienced with life itself. this has not changed with the passage of time. why do they have to have 14 years residency in the usa because the person running the country should be a part of it and familiar with the internal culture and what is going on within it. this has also not changed much with the passage of time. why a term limit term limits have nothing to do with who gets the privilege to run for the presidency. please stay on topic. it must be fear that we have these rules in place ya fear thats the ticket. fear had a lot to do with why some of these rules were initially put in place but they also made sense at the time and still do today. in todays world of easy and inexpensive travel where you were born has little meaning anymore its what you are and what you believe that counts. besides the group pushing for it is right wing but then youll argue either way for the sake of just arguing. i know that it is but like i said i am more toward the middle than you could ever be. rofl!! its a right wing group pushing this crap and im against it so that makes me even more right wing yep. this is all going on because some moderate conservatives like the idea of aaanold running for president and to you extreme right wing conservatives it is a hidden lefty communist plot to overthrow the gubberment and must be stopped at all costs. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

on wed 17 nov 2004 210851 -0700 bob bobcowan@access4less.net wrote well it finally happened. ive been hearing a lot of talk about expensive repair bills on these trucks. but so far mine has run really well. for 60k miles routine maint only. never had to actually fix anything. ive kept a close watch on all those things that seem to go bad early - brakes balls joints transmissions. but they are still in top shape. so whats the other thing that all light duty dodge trucks are famouse for you guessed it the diff. its the coprorate 9.25 rear with 3.92 gears and ls. and yes it got regular service. i recently noted a feint noise that seemed to be coming from the rear. i was pretty sure it was the diff but not positive. so i took it to a local shop today and we popped the cover off. the oil looked kind of ugly but not terrible. lying in the bottom of the case was a shard of metal that looked to me like a bearing shell. the shop owner reached in and pulled out some small part with his fingers. he said it was a reatiner for the clutch pack. the outside edges of the ring gear teeth were a little burnt. before this i drove a 95 ram with the same kind of rear. bearings went out in that one at 60k miles too. oh well. it is getting a complete overhaul with aftermarket parts it will cost about $800. should last forever now. i was kind of expecting it so i was very alert to that noise. interesting... we had to have new seals and just about everything but the actual gears changed in our rear end at about 64000 miles.. 99 ram qq 2wd 360/auto/355 .

but you can never change your place of birth which makes that rule outdated in todays world and rather ignorant. i believe that rule is there to prevent this country from having a leader with a conflict of interest. what would happen if there were ever a conflict between the us and the homeland of a foreign born us president effective leadership would be unlikely in that position doubts warranted or not. .

steveindfw@yahoo.com steve sprach im i have a brake fluid leak in my dodge ram 1500/v6 engine that is progressively getting worse. ive continued to top off my brake fluid so that the brake system continues to work ok. right now i have to fill the master cylinder-resevoir up about 1/2 to 3/4s of the way every 3 to 4 days. the problem is getting worse because at first i was only filling the resevoir up every week or so. i have visually determined by fluid on the ground that the source of the leak is something up towards the right-front part of the vehicle about six inches to a foot from the right-front tire. is this something easy to fix what could it be i figured the steel brake fluid line could be broken or something... you dont say what year your truck is but its very likely a rusted line. they often rust out where they clip to the body or are subject to deposition of road debris. if you have someone step hard on the pedal while you peer underneath youll probably see a little pee-stream of fluid where the leak is. fortunately this is an easy fix. if youre brave you can rent a flare tool and generic brake line is pretty cheap. cut out the bad section and splice in new line. you dont even need a bending tool for the new line you can just bend it by hand. it does take some experimentation with the flare tool until you get a good flare so get one or two extra pieces of line to experiment on. and dont forget to slip the flare nuts on before you make the flare!!!! if you want a garage to do it i cant see it being much more than $100 to fix. -- tegger .

thanks. on tue 16 nov 2004 031504 gmt tom lawrence tnloaswpraemnmcien5g@earthlink.net wrote im wondering if i should hold out for an ho model. the dealer said they would throw on an adjustable chip at their cost and that it wouldnt void the warranty. i need to verify this with cummins and dodge however. tell em to put it in writing and get it authorized by dc corporate. snicker a few facts... nothing short of fraud or blatent abuse will out-right void a warranty. however warranty coverage can be denied on a case by case basis if an aftermarket part or product is suspected of causing the condition. secondly there is no warranty from cummins... dc holds the warranty on the engine and its up to them not cummins to provide it. and as such they can choose to withhold warranty coverage if they suspect a non-authorized part or product is at fault. bottom line... any device that adds additional fuel could be cause for denying any drivetrain-related warranty repairs should they become necessary. if you want an extra 55hp hold our for an ho. .
