kathy wrote mine does that too! please do tell if the computer code changes work. mine is going in for service next week. just got my 2004 durango back from the dealer. mine was revving to about 2000-2100 rpms when starting. they called chrysler who said it was per design. the dealer started up several on the lot and they all behaved the same. however after they reprogrammed the computer i now find that it revs to about 1500rpms. a bit better. i also noticed a loud resonating drone sound when rpms hit about 1900 no matter what the speed. there is a tsb out for it to change the exhaust mounts to stop this noise. if yours does this the dealer will correct it. .
