Hemi Misfire
From : moparman
Q: i took my truck in today for a 30k rear end lube and mentioned about a twice occurring misfire. after driving in both instances a couple of hours i was stopped at a red light and the motor starting misfiring like running on 4 cylinders. i tried to go when the light changed but it still misfired/missed/didnt run right. i pulled over and stopped the truck and restarted it seems to fire most new truck problems and it stopped. the service dood said they would check the computer im not getting an error and reported back that they didnt find anything. i kinda figured they wouldnt. anyone else with a hemi had this problem or am i the only one with 30k on one so far -- moparman----remove clothes to reply... scud coordinates latitude 32.61208 degrees north longitude 96.92995 degrees west depth 17.35 inches .

mopar i believe there is a flash update for your pcm for that problem. it may still be in the works at engineering though. ill check tomorrow and get back to you. its a relatively common problem thats software related so i wouldnt worry about it too much. mike i took my truck in today for a 30k rear end lube and mentioned about a twice occurring misfire. after driving in both instances a couple of hours i was stopped at a red light and the motor starting misfiring like running on 4 cylinders. i tried to go when the light changed but it still misfired/missed/didnt run right. i pulled over and stopped the truck and restarted it seems to fire most new truck problems and it stopped. the service dood said they would check the computer im not getting an error and reported back that they didnt find anything. i kinda figured they wouldnt. anyone else with a hemi had this problem or am i the only one with 30k on one so far -- moparman----remove clothes to reply... scud coordinates latitude 32.61208 degrees north longitude 96.92995 degrees west depth 17.35 inches .
