Headlight bulb replacement and adjustment?
From : jitendra
Q: i figured out the replacement part for myself. i was trying to turn the actual bulb unit and not the plastic ring that holds the bulb in place. live and learn. now just need input on the adjustment side of things. hi all im trying to replace the headlamp bulbs in my 1999 dodge grand caravan. i took of the power connectors/leads but am having a hard time getting the actual bulb units out of the housing. im pretty sure its just a matter of turning them in one direction or the other but im using a fair amount of force and they dont seem to budge. any advice to help me would be appreciated. also one headlamp seems dim compared to the other. no clouding or dulling of either of the lenses. i saw that each of the lamp housings are adjustable and have calibration scales on them; one for level both have the same reading so i assume they are correct and one for angle along the horizontal has a transparent plastic disc with a lever. does anyone know what the readings for each should be. again im guessing that the drivers side should be different than the passenger side but i could be wrong. thanks in advance. jitendra 99 dodge grand caravan es .

va@comcast.com check engine light has been on for about 2 months got it checked out when it first came on at autozone. they said the code reflected a small minor fuel system leak perhaps a faulty gas cap replaced and reset check engine light or a vacuum leak. well the engine check light is back on... any ideas on where to start thanks kevin evaporative emissions leak if it is the same code have someone perform a smoke test on the system to find the leak or the mechanical problem. the fault means you are venting fuel vapors to the atmosphere it has nothing to do with raw fuel it is very possible you have a bad fuel gas cap .

not sue blake!! mr. troll. the web.tv thing gave you away. you should have left that part out. it was almost a convincing post that i would have swallowed myself but bringing the attention to yourself posting from web.tv was what killed it. the post has many of the classic tried and true hoax virus characteristics common usenet trollers use. you picked these 1. identify yourself with the target demograpic. 2. qualifiy yourself as a subject matter expert or claim a personal relationship of one. 3. find a topic you think will spark a controversy within the demographic and take an opposite stand. pretty smooth but no dice. next time try explaining why you are a disgruntled employee and leave out the web.tv and fried computer thing. we also havent had a queen regular here in years. anyone remember her name im thinking it was sue -- reading this group for more than 5 years. .

speaking of aircraft in support of vietnam era i think there were a conglomeration of every kind of old birds that they had left over. i even seen a four engine c-46 at dong mong. the c-7 i think was built just for vietnam using old c-54 engines r-2000 engines or maybe they were r-2800s. they had a souped up c-45 with turbo props and tricycle landing gear. i have pictures of other strange looking aircraft. ;- here is a link to some of our operations back then. http//limasite85.us/construction7a.htm bill p.- henry wrote actually a couple of c46s a dozen of c47s airbourne command a c47 gunshipspooky a c119 gunshipshadow and a bunch of dehavoland c7s twin radials developing 1475 hp ea supercharged pratt and whitney. henry when i go fishing i just cant understand why a fish wants to come by and disturb me. henry wrote interesting post in my mind. i wasas a young airman in danang vietnam in 1969. i was part of a maintenance group for f$ phantom jet aircraft.in short order was sent to the philipines for specialization on said jet aircraft. one week after return i was reassigned to asmall basephucat that wasnt large enough to have jet aircraft use and spent the rest of my year working piston aircraft that were built in wwii or any piston aircraft that came through...you folks think your autos used/leaked oil i guess you were left behind and i was forced behind... give me a 1000 hp radial any day. and by the way when cat fishing use a piece of pantyhose to wrap the bait and put on hook it is less likely to be robbed. henry you must be talking about the t-28 but not the sandy a1 they had a 2700 hp engine r-3350 and loved to drip oil every where. ;- . 222 296962 wotld.5021$3w3.83@big4.bellsouth.net i had the quiet flomasters installed on my 70 blazer about 2 yrs ago and its so loud i will have to change. its not so bad in a p/u but the sound resonates in the blazer probably like it would in your van. i have a new 350 300hp headers w/2 1/2 pipes all the way. ld hello all i have another question about my 96 b250 conversion van. i had a new 360 put in last summer after spinning a bearing in the last one. i tow a camper with this van and i am pretty close to the max combined vehicle weight. anyway a guy at work got dual exhaust and flow master stuff put on his 00 ram 1500 he says it mad the world of difference in tq. how true is this would it be possible to put dual exhaust on this van is it legal to mess with the exhaust or change it from factory standards thanks fred .
