Q: hello. i am considering purchasing some synthetic products from amsoil for my 97 dodge cummins turbo diesel. namely 5w-30 heavy duty diesel oil remote bypass oil filter system atf differential gear lube & air filter. can anyone comment on the quality of these products especially running the 5w-30 hdd oil in the cummins. thanks in advance for any responses. .

the calibration procedure requires a drb iii scan tool. mike... take a step back for a minute here. you need a computer to recalibrate a little flapper door. is there nothing left on these vehicles thats mechanical anymore yup! aint it awful ^/........ the drs use a bcm which complicates everything! when they work they work beautifully.... but when they dont they are a pita! mike .
