HEMI gas question

Q: great answer joe. i thought i was going to have to say it but of course...a mustang owner nailed it down. i burn 87 89 and 93 several different times a month. but i change my timing a lot too. when it is track time i put 2 gallons of 93 and get some race gas from the track. makes a good mix for 16 + degrees of timing. don manning 19c.11120$oi4.11060@svr22..prodigy.com i know the manual say 89 i just wanted to get some feed back o what others are using with performance results. what im trying to tell you is that you can damage your hemi if you burn high octane fuel. if you wanta burn your motor up try it yourself its not getting in my tank. running hi-test in an engine designed for mid or low grade wont burn it up. the gas just burns slower - no harm in it except wasted $$. joe black 03 dakota 5.9 r/t cc calypso green 93 mustang 5.0 lx hatch with a few goodies .
