HEMI Vibration

From : kevin

Q: i have a brand new dodge durango. almost right away i noticed that when i started it up after it was sitting for a while overnight or at the office that it would not go into 2nd gear right away. after going about 1/10 - 2/10 of a mile it would then shift into the correct gear. i called the dealer and told him about the problem and he said that this was normal. i have a hard time believing this is considered normal operation. has anybody else had this problem has anybody else brought it up to a dealer i would like to know .

we just picked up the truck from the 2nd attempt to correct the vibration. i understand the escalation process through dodge but looking more for someone who has experienced the problem and a dealer has succesfully corrected. thanks to those who have provided responses that add some value to the topic. to the other can you spell spam .

i thought the 2004s were all 325 hp/600lbs torque. thats what it said in my trailer life magazine anyways. no - the 325hp engine was introduced as a mid-year change. 04s built before sometime in december still have the 305hp engine. .
