HELP!!!!! 2002 Dodge Durango / 1984 Chevy Chevette

From : bigroblee

Q: hey everyone. two days before christmas i was on my way to work and my windshield wipers on my 02 durango started working by themselves. shortly after the power locks and keyless entry quit working. then the headlights decided to quit working then the interior lights. i thought great! just great! merry christmas to me! soooo after finally finding somewhere that was open and could do diagnostics on it they said it could be several things but they have no idea exactly what...sooo i was stuck again with no answer. since that day ive had no problems with it.....until this afternoon. my keyless entry doesnt work. the batteries in the factory fob are new. neither of the fobs i have work for it. i even went so far as to disconnect the battery in hopes of it resetting something dealing with the keyless entry. anyone have any ideas whats going on also my fiance has an 84 chevette yes there are still some of them around lol. lately it loses engine power while hes driving and when he stops smoke bellows from the engine. when i checked it out after it had been parked and not driven for a couple days there was what looked like really old transmission fluid on the ground under it. however the engines all gunky and dirty so its hard to really tell where anythings coming from if theres a leak. any ideas for this thanks!! i have had problems with tree rats squirrels eating at my underhood wiring and causing intermittant troubles similar to what you describe particullary with the wipers and cruise control. you might want to check for evidence of nesting / damage. id heard there was an 84 chevette still running so its you! if i were you id swap it for a pocket knife if you can find a sucker.... .

regards the trucking industry your tax dollars would if you paid any built the streets and highways that they operate on as well as maintain them. talk about a subsidy. roy i know you were a railroad man. i work in the trucking industry. im curious as to how much of the road fuel tax the rail industry paid to subsidize the streets and highways used by the trucking industry. i know the trucking industry doesnt pay any kind of rail-use fuel tax. i would think the arrangement would be reciprocal. ken i honestly dont know how that works regarding fuel tax. way beyond my pay grade. as a guess i would think that the fuel used in locomotives would be no tax as they arent on the streets and highways. the point i was trying to make is that the highway system is paid for with tax dollars. freight railroads build and maintain their own right of way. amtrak which is partially subsidized by tax dollars pays for track usage from various freight and commutor railroads. i dont believe amtrak actually owns all that much track. roy .

craig c. wrote i didnt say there wasnt a camp. i said that there was no overwhelming evidence of a tie between iraq and al qaeda. if indeed there was a camp which i seriously doubt i see. didnt say there wasnt a camp but you seriously doubt there was. too funny. you have not defined overwhelming evidence. nobody can present something to you that you have not defined. it is only your own views. bush himself just a few weeks after 9/11 publicly stated there were no ties between 9/11 and iraq. so your argument is just a but of hatred spewing without focus. .
