HELP - No Wipers on 99 Sport

Q: hi group! got a problem here houston. wipers dont work on my 99 sport ctd quad cab. have had it in storage and batteries went flat and had to replace ... dont know if this might be related to the no wipers problem 25a fuse for wiper circuit is ok. any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. tia fred .
