Q: door that has been failing and is becoming a somewhat common issue. now its a matter of waiting until thursday to get me in. - dont feel bad... my dealership took 9 days to replace my leaking evaporator... and that was after i told them when i scheduled the appointment that the evaporator was leaking. nothing like being proactive and making sure you have the parts in stock right come on.... thats just crazy talk. almost as good as the time my battery exploded on me and they told me theyd have to order a replacement because they didnt have one in stock. youve got 500 trucks out there on the lot and im pretty sure most of them have a battery or two in them. blank stare ahhh.... dealerships. im dreading my next appointment... cant imagine how long its going to take to repair a broken nav system. what do you figure 4 days 6 i can hardly wait... hey tom drive a few hours west and ill say i can have it fixed for ya in about 4 months. ill even spring for the white castles while ya wait... vbg denny cheapskate!! you never offered me no white castles....!! mike i aint seen you parked in front of my house yet either.... bg denny this is tooooooo easy!!!!!!!!!!! bfg roy i gave you the chance and you didnt take it. i guess old retired folks are slipping..... denny .

on sun 08 jul 2007 173354 -0700 miles nope@nopers.com wrote roy wrote ive been doing a bunch of reading on them. seems that the deal on the batteries isnt what it use to be. under 2k for a replacement. toyota warranty is for 100k or 8 years. 40mpg is nothing to sneeze at. the cost savings just isnt there. a honda civic dx is $16000 and gets 30mpg city. a honda civic hybrid is $23000 and gets 50mpg city. lets say someone drives well over the national average at 20000 miles per year. 20000/30 * $3/gallon = $2000 20000/50 * $3/gallon = $1200 a savings of $800/year. it would take 8.75 years to make up for the higher price of the hybrid. thats not even counting the difference in tax on the two cars which where i live would be $7000 * 8% sales tax = $560 more. furthermore most people dont drive 20000 miles a year i do so it would be even worse for many. but a 1200 sporster would be economical and you can ride it year round down there. mine gets 50 mpg. beekeep .

on mon 9 jul 2007 072909 -0400 roy roy@fhome.net wrote you may very well be correct. i guess it is how you look at it and what you are comfortable with. ill be moving from a car that gets 17-19 on the highway and around 15 in the city. also it requires premium fuel. so until the dust settles from the move and i know exactly where we are at it looks pretty good. another difference to me would be whether you finance it.. id be more inclined to go hybrid if i wasnt paying cash for it.. the payment difference on the more expensive car should be less than the fuel savings if the interest rate is decent... im a firm believer that cash on hand is nice but cash flow is what decides how you live... mac please remove splinters before emailing .

ive posted in this group many many times regarding the challenges ive had with my truck...well ive finally brought it back into good shape. everything is working great... but unfortunately my job is gonna require me to do a ton of driving soon and i just dont have the $ to pour into my trucks big ol v8. so my 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport black 80000 original miles new a/c evaporator freon 4 new tires new computer ecm new fuel pump and perfectly working 4x4 is going up for sale... if youre around utah and are interested feel free to drop me an email at chendrikson@gmail.com ive poured over 3500 bucks into this truck...but im not looking to recoup all that. heres a pic http//s67.photobucket.com/albums/h306/chendrik/action=view&current=truck-resize.jpg .

mac davis thought everyone should know on sun 08 jul 2007 164327 +0930 jmc nogroupsspam@nojodibody.homeus wrote i have the same truck and took it up to about 98mph but only once with no stumble. probably wont again though. back then before jan 07 there was no speed limit on the outback roads hereabouts. now there is. not sure why they bother its thousands literally of miles of empty roads rarely patrolled. about the only people you could give speeding tickets to is someone whos wrecked because theyve gone too fast. jmc yeah ive had the truck for 6 years and a 56000 miles and just found this out... just got into a nice flow with 3 other trucks across a dry lake bed and when i passed a slower car it cut out on me twice... good to know its not an ignition problem which is what it felt like.. otoh id much prefer the diesel type governor if i have to have one where the rpm or is limited but doesnt have the back off stumble.. mac please remove splinters before emailing i agree they could control max speed on a gasoline car much more smoothly with computer control if they would just program it as such. the whole shut the thing off for a second just seems a touch rediculous to me. -- chris .

say there was no public right of way between properties. here most property boundries run right up to the neighbors. there are codes that stipulate how far back from the property line a dwelling must be but no such laws about where to place a fence. would you have minded if the fence was built right up against your property line nope. if he had run it out to the bay maybe but even then it wouldnt be a bad idea. down there its all about privacy. 1 you cannot assume what others would be bothered by. this is very true and is exactly why an anything goes policy that says i dont give a damn about whether anything bothers the neighbors is a bad idea. sorry miles but the reality is someone will be insulted somewhere and thats part of life. so if i choose to put up a fence and the only person i consult is the neighbor who will have the fence along his property tough shit for the rest of the neighborhood. im sure some people dont like that i start my truck in the morning or come home late at night. too bad for them. they all seem to have gotten over it. of course i dont do stupid things and make a pita of myself. that doesnt mean the neighbors like it since theyre new. the guy who moved out wanted me to move next door to his new house claimed i was a quiet neighbor who wasnt a problem. 2 you cannot assume it would be a horrible neighborhood. thats true but the lack of any rules allows it to happen and does nothing to prevent it. the worst looking neighborhoods around here are the ones where either there are lax property laws or they are not enforced. yeah and its such a horrible thing to deal with..... -- max join www.devilbrad.com and find out what free exchange of info is all about. there are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty soap ballot jury and ammo. please use in that order. -ed howdershelt author .

roy wrote the way it works here is you can utilize a certain percentage of the sq. ft. of the lot for the footprint of the structure. also povides for set back and and side distances. they do that here too but the lots are 1 acre which allows for a lot of house. the area was developed in the 60s and 70s and every home was around 2000-3000sf ranch style 1 story. new owners are wanting to bull doze their home and put up homes 2 to 3 times the size. it seems there isnt a restriction on the sf only the side distances etc. all of the existing homes are 1 story but there was no rule against 2 or 3 stories. the existing home owners are fighting hard to prevent the huge exotic homes from being built. they want to keep it looking like a quiet ranch style country home neighborhood. luckily the one major rule for the entire town is that no commercial business is allowed anywhere in the town limits. not many towns like that. .
