if you get the 4x4 you wont regret it especially when it comes time to sell it. i would definately want 4x4 if i was to be plowing in the snow. what do you drive now that cuts the mustard towing and hauling carl 2004 durango st 4x2 package a 4.7 v8 traction control towing package i frequently tow a utility trailer with a 1200 lb garden tractor. total weight is about 2000 lb. the reason i want the traction control is that i tow the tractor with a plow for moving snow in the winter. i live in delaware so there are no hills to speak of so i dont feel i need a 4x4. any comments appreciated. frank .

i have a 91 ford ranger with a 3.0 that i use for towing the trailer. i also have an 01 dodge grand caravan that will be traded on the durango. i wont be using the durango for plowing. thats what the tractor is used for in the winter. its my lawn mower in the summer. i tow the tractor to my two daughters homes to mow and plow. i will be selling the ranger after i get an suv. i saw on tv last night that the local ford dealer is having a big sale. ill be checking them as well. carl saiyed carlsaiyed@hotmail.removecom wrote in if you get the 4x4 you wont regret it especially when it comes time to sell it. i would definately want 4x4 if i was to be plowing in the snow. what do you drive now that cuts the mustard towing and hauling carl 2004 durango st 4x2 package a 4.7 v8 traction control towing package i frequently tow a utility trailer with a 1200 lb garden tractor. total weight is about 2000 lb. the reason i want the traction control is that i tow the tractor with a plow for moving snow in the winter. i live in delaware so there are no hills to speak of so i dont feel i need a 4x4. any comments appreciated. fran

oh i understand now. will you be driving the new vehicle in the snow i still vote for the 4x4 b/c i know that when i was shopping for a used suv i wouldnt even bother looking at one w/o 4 wheel drive. imho the 4wd is worth it just for the resale value and resaleability. carl i have a 91 ford ranger with a 3.0 that i use for towing the trailer. i also have an 01 dodge grand caravan that will be traded on the durango. i wont be using the durango for plowing. thats what the tractor is used for in the winter. its my lawn mower in the summer. i tow the tractor to my two daughters homes to mow and plow. i will be selling the ranger after i get an suv. i saw on tv last night that the local ford dealer is having a big sale. ill be checking them as well. carl saiyed carlsaiyed@hotmail.removecom wrote in if you get the 4x4 you wont regret it especially when it comes time to sell it. i would definately want 4x4 if i was to be plowing in the snow. what do you drive now that cuts the mustard towing and hauling carl 2004 durango st 4x2 package a 4.7 v8 traction control towing package i frequently tow a utility trailer with a 1200 lb garden tractor. total weight is about 2000 lb. the reason i want the traction control is that i tow the tractor with a plow for moving snow in the winter. i live in delaware so there are no hills to speak of so i dont feel i need a 4x4. any comments appreciated. frank .
